Best game I've seen him play. Trouble is you need at least that standard every week given the impressive ruck stocks kicking around at other clubs. Hampson is very likely to revert to type than consistently deliver those performances.

Nicholls looked good at times yesterday, SCOOP. But you don't get Hansel every week. ;D

But seriously? He's 24. (A year older than I thought.) Will he make it?

The bloke is doofus. How many times has he taken the ball only to be told your kicking the other way? 3?
He was ok yesterday, but they were good out of the centre because we have no pace in there. Cotchin takes 3 weeks to get to his 2nd step, miles just dosent chase and grigg has been our best but won't stand on the ones who will burst out of the Middle.
We need another pack buster midfielder. Hannebery 10years 15 million how's that's

Better today against the Suns.
Mark and goal had me shaking my head in disbelief.
HOTA quota very high too.

better was when he got the free on the HFF and went back to take the kick on the wrong side of the mark, definitely confused everyone in the vicinity. Sucked Nicholls right in, thinks on his feet Hammer.

The usual whiners here are not prepared to recognise this player's improvement, especially in his over head marking and kicking. There is no reason why he can't keep improving.

He did well yesterday. 55 metres gained, 9 disposals @ 100% DE. 42 HO @ 43% HOTA. 5 marks, 1 goal.

He'd only taken 9 marks in his previous 7 games so its been a bit hard to recognise his improvement there but this was the first game (for a long time) where I actually saw him consistently go full on for his marks and of course he reaped the rewards. I don't know if it was who he was playing against or whether they've been working hard at training to rectify this issue but the difference was certainly clear as day. Can he continue to do what he did today, that's the question, because this is the minimum we need to expect.

You want a pacy midfielder and the one you pick out is Hannebury? He's good at what he does but quick he is not.

Very sound game.

Another really solid game today. The reality is, while he is in this form, Maric won't be coming back.

I think Maric is finished whether Hampson is or is not in form. Body is done.

Just shows how overrated the HOTA stat is. 43% and we lost centre clearances 14 - 10.

BTW does anyone know if there is a HOTD stat as Hammer seems to tap it to the other side a lot.

So you, TT and maybe Dyer, want us to get Nichols, even though we have Hampson who almost doubled his HOs yesterday? So tell us how you are going to get him?
We have no second-rounder because we gave it to Bloos for Yazz. Really don't think GC are going to accept a 3rd round or higher pick for what they will see as a ruck reaching his prime they have developed for somebody else?

So you are advocating we trade our first pick for this guy? Or which players should we trade away? (No use nominating TV - GC sure do not need nor want!).

Would like to hear. If you know this is the club's intended course, will be interesting to get some feedback here.
