I care desperately about what I do. Do I know what product I'm selling? No. Do I know what I'm doing today? No. But I'm here, and I'm gonna give it my best shot.

Never going to be a rockstar but gotta give the bloke credit where it's due, he's lifted his game considerably.

This is like a game at Adelaide when the opposition kick a goal - deathly silent but with the odd bit of faint praise here and there. You know it won't be long before the knives come out again >:D.

Yes. I was going to say Sharknado, but your point is valid

Yeah this is all true, but I actually think he can still improve his NRO (non-ruck output) quite a lot

I thought his NRO was solid last Saturday in horrible conditions. Such a big body, he tends to find a path through. Hopefully, he gets the confidence to believe he is good enough for this level.

Played a blinder in the first quarter, 5 disposals, a contested mark, something like 5 contested possessions, wasn't sure I was watching the same player. Only 3 disposals for the rest of the game but it certainly wasn't great conditions for a tall. Overall I thought he served us pretty well, just wish he could do it consistently.

He is doing ok,or even a little better, but far better than I thought he was capable of.

That being said a trade for a ruckman is high priority this off season

There's none available
Priority Hurley and Neale.
Hurley 900k 6 years (for free)
Neale 550k 5 years (our first pick and Conca)

That's a good post, Zips. I agree with you. A lot for Hurley, in the context of what some of our existing A-graders (like even Rance) are on, but it will take something near that to tear him away from the Dopers. Neale or maybe Prestia would complete our midfield and I hope that we are then well within sight of top 4 at least.

Noted that someone on one footy show Monday night claimed mail that Prestia almost definitely won't be at GC next year, so whose into him? (Haven't had a chance to look at Rumours)
