The gap between his best and worst is huge. Been ok lately but a shocker tonight. Just did the monster shuffle most of the night.

As others have said - too much difference between his best & worst. Was shocking tonight & hit the ball to Essendon's advantage far too many times.

However given Goldstein has Maric's measure, Hampson has to play next week to try something different. Griffiths looked good in the ruck tonight too.

What amazes me according to the AFL site he was one of our best. I must have watched a different game

They're pissed. If you don't support Richmond you couldn't watch us

I wish this were true. The gap between his best and his worst is minimal. His worst is diabolical, and his best is just above substandard. It's just that we're all so surprised whenever he has a game in which he takes a mark, that it stands out as particularly good. For him.

He is without a doubt the worst footballer to ever have pulled on a tigers jersey. He's just lucky that he's 200 cm, 100 kg, and can jump. But I don't think I've ever seen a player with less ability with ball in hand, or ball in area, or just ball.

I've been giving him a pass recently, only watching him on TV. Seeing him at the ground tonight, it's obvious just how terrible he is. Players actively avoid going to him, and when they have to, they all run backwards knowing that he'll turn it over. And then he does. And then he gives away a free kick. And then he falls over.

It's incomprehensible how a man with his size, can be so inept at every aspect of the game aside from ruck hit outs. Just the worst mark of a football for a big man I've seen in 36 years of going to VFL/AFL matches.

Ok at bounces and throw ins.
Looked like he'd never run around the ground before - lost

We got creamed in clearances. He was no good at bounces and throw ins.

Real shame considering he was up against a player playing his first senior game all year.

Hampys stats:

8 disposals, (3 kicks, 5 HB) @ 50% DE, 35 metres gained, 0 marks, 0 scores, 1 clearance, 33 HO (10 to advantage) @ 30% HOTA. 3 frees for, 4 against.

Jamar:
7 disposals (2 k, 5 HB) @ 100% DE, 100 metres gained, 3 marks, 1 goal, 2 clearances, 19 HO (5 to advantage) @ 26% HOTA.

Essendon won the centre clearances 15-12 and clearances 27-19.

So Jamar shaded him by having 100% DE and kicking a goal and despite Hampy winning more HO we lost the clearances.

Yep there's no doubt his in career best form ;D

He is that bad he got beaten by a bloke that hasn't played in 12 months and used like a spare tyre on a car
He is shocking. I reckon he will go down as the worse ruckman I've seen and I've seen some bad ones. Graham Elser Francis knoble marsh

Is a ground hog the same as a hamster? Doesn't really matter I guess, the Hamster was back in all his glory last night, phhhhhht, over n over again.

The amount of times I called him Megs last night was cringeworthy. He got pinged for throwing three times I think.
He was influential last week. Last night he was craptastic.
