I reckon he's good for another 3 goals tomorrow.

Wide open spaces of Subi will suit hik I reckon. Might get his first handful.

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

Sam has what is coloquially referred to as a football brain. That's a more powerful weapon than raw pace.
Looking forward to seeing him next year with another half a dozen games at AFL level and a pre season under the belt.

Yep. Add his obvious football nouse to an improvement in his fitness and he will be a very valuable member of our forward line.

The polish is fine, pace & fitness the big queries (in that order) for leysy.

Pace is my no.1 worry, but he can compensate if he develops a tank, we shall see.

I love him as a football though, smart, tough, has x-factor...

I'm actually wondering if they'll make him the sub, so that Thomas can start on the ground.

Shouldn't happen as we natural goal kickers.

I would have Newman as the sub.

I look forward to when defenders start thinking
That Sam I am, that Sam I am, I do not like that Sam I am!

Does he like green eggs and ham?

MIA tonight, a couple of sub-standard efforts early.

Must have spent a lot of time on the phone, Merveille. Rightly subbed.

There seems to be a very big gap from one week to the next. I hope he gets another gig.

100% will get dropped next week as he is not one of Dimnuts Untouchables!
Nor should he be untouchable. He deserved to be dropped on tonight's game but Dimma will give him another week IMO.

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

The newbies don't get multiple weeks with poor games. He'll be dropped to make way for someone else.

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

Relax, it's gonna happen until he gets fit.
The key to this guy is playing him on fast tracks when the ball moves quickly.
If not, he is a defensive liability.
Definitely deserves another preseason but he has to get fitter so he can potentially impact the game when HE DOES NOT HAVE THE BALL.
