I love this Sam Lloyd character

What a get! Shame he's been quiet since collingwood

He's warming up OK with quiet three goals today DDT!

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

must stay in. haven't had a dangerous small forward since Naish.

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

He isn't going to get a lot of it... He just isn't that type of player... So has to be super damaging when he does get it to keep his spot. Took his chances today.

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

Has been great. Would love him to have a another full preseason, because I think if he was 110% fully fit he will be our equivalent of ballaytne
Doesn't miss

Had a very good game, agree completely. I also wouldn't give up on Gordon either. What happened to Gordon yesterday, was he injured?

Reckon he will fall away about mid season due to the increase from VFL to AFL. When he does give him a week off everything to freshen up. You can tell by his body shape that he hasn't done much serious training. Is a super talented player.

Naish is good comparison, dangerous forward but not super quick

I don't believe so, just had a poor game and they decided to activate Edwards and see if they could get more out of him. Lloyd is certainly opportunistic and unlike plenty of others, he makes the most of those rare opportunities.

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

Slamming Sam has kicked six goals one behind so far, and while he may not be super fast he makes up for that by having a real instinct for the game. He will only get better i reckon.

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

I've got my fingers crossed that Lloyd will be a real find for the Tigers. Would like the selectors to show some faith and continue to play him, even if he has the odd down game here and there. He is worth persevering with.

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

Yeah he knows where the goals are
When Gordon and Lloyd find the sticks consistently and Banfield steps up, FJ will be lauded as a recruiting genius

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

Nearly took one of the biggest marks in history today. But treacle. Molasses.

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

Needs to be preserved with but needs to do more.

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

Unbelievable if you hadnt noticed the match committee blames Lloyd for our losses
Couldnt see it as a member thought Grigg, Chaplin, Morris, Shank & Hampson may have been out of form didnt realise all along it was Lloyd holding us back :p

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

3 goals against the cats 2 week's ago not enough to hold your spot , we must be tanking .

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

Not good for Sam's confidence, dropping him after a game where his experienced team-mates did nothing to help.

I hope he and Miles kick a bag of goals in the VFL this week.

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

Been made the scape goat for the pathetic effort of some of his team mates . the noose is tightening for hardwick for rewarding mediocracy .Showed more aggots than a lot of hardwicks pets

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

Stiff to miss out, but you can see that his fitness isn't really were it needs to be play consistent footy at this level.
