Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

Can someone please update me on Blair's status this week? Conjurer or Spud Farmer?

"DO NOT TAKE ME FOR SOME CONJURER OF CHEAP TRICKS"

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

Would pick Lloyd and Gordon before Grigg and Edwards for the remainder of the season, irrespective of any troughs in form by the former. The latter two are not the future for the Tigers.

Both deserve some continuity, I would be very disappointed if either were dropped. I thought Lloyd's debut has set the benchmark for the small forward role, I also suspect he would have followed that up had he not been in involved in a nasty collision. These guys are the future, King certainly isn't and Edward's needs to lift his game.

Bang on the money Bully.

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

He's a keeper, he knows where the goals are and has very good hands. He's a one touch player with the ball in the air or on the deck. Good luck to him.

I'd go further and say we need to look for him more. He is trying to get his own ball , but is not quite at that level yet, but if he has the ball in his hand he will kick plenty.

Yeah I like him. He certainly knows where the goals are, but gee he desperately needs to shed a few kegs off those thighs.

If he develops a tank he will be a keeper.

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

Jury's out for me, love his goal sense an general footy nous, I'm just a bit worried about his leg speed week in week out

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

Seems to have nice goal sense, but I wonder if he's quick enough long term. Can't see him getting to many contests in a final. But he slots 5 snags who cares I spose.

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

Did not watch him too closely - does he tackle and put on plenty of fwd pressure. If so then yep he is a keeper.

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

Rebounded well after a couple of middling games. The first true creative small forward we've had in a very long time.

Yep, good tackler, seems to enjoy laying a hard one

Think he'll be more of a Le Cras type, he also needs a couple of preseasons, he's comng from a very low fitness base.

Re: Welcome Sam Lloyd

Great seeing a guy who 1) backs himself in to have a shot and 2) converts more often than not :clap
