He really didn't do a lot wrong when he was called on. Made a far better contribution that the likes of C Ellis & Menadue.

This goes the same for me too. I

Much rather clear the likes of Menadue and Corey off the books and make room for a proper footballer to help the club go another step in 2019.

He would get a game at the other 17 clubs easily.
I reckon if he can have a really good preseason and drop some kgs, he could be an option in the centre
He is faster then miles

I'm faster than Miles and I'm 52 with Emphysema.

Ta Yinnar. Was hoping for an official club announcement, but I'll take it as gospel.

He's been a solid citizen at Tigerland and I'm sure he'll serve the Club well again next year if he stays.
But I would like to think Sam does not even get close to a senior game next year simply because we'll have a stronger best 25 or 26 than this year and that - even with injuries - we will have better long term options to call up.

I hope so and we would be in damn good shape if that was the case

Big shame to lose him. He's the best of our depth IMO.

We're going to have to really scour the bargain bins this trade period.

True.. however its amazing how average players can all of a sudden look quite good surrounded by A listers! I suspect some draft picks 80+ and a rookie or two might throw a life line at some possible mature depth.

Are you reporting an inside sourced piece of info or repeating Herald-Sun article by Sam Landesberger?

It's a shame. I'd rather keep him.

Anyway onwards and upwards. What will we get for him as a trade? 3rd rounder at least I'd think for a top 25 player in a top 3 team in the AFL.

We must be eyeing off another signing or two ... hopefully some midfielders.

I'd say we've found our midfielder and he's agreed to come over.

Shame. Lloyd miles ellis conca townsend is losing too much depth at once.

Sorry to see Sam go but he really does deserve to be a regular AFL player. Has got better every year he's been here. Become a bona fide star mid at VFL level.

Hope he kills it at the Doggies.
