Shame. Lloyd miles ellis conca townsend is losing too much depth at once.

It will be madness if we let all them go.
I hope we have another couple of irons in the fire, because we're going to need them.

He’s the one out of all of them I would be most disappointed to see go.

Let’s hope we have another good run with injuries next year.

Confirmed, off to Bulldogs.

Good on him and hope he plays games there because I don't think he's good enough for us.
Or to put in another way - if he was getting games with us next year it would mean we were really struggling with injuries and likely battling to win games anyway.

What will we get for him - if anything?
Hopefully a draft pick that could be used for a young bloke that might offer some future.

Depth is Bellis, Baker, Bolton, Naish, Markov, Balta, CMoore, Soldo, CCJ, Garthy. Oh, and Lynch. I’ll take it.

I’d rather we try our hand at some state ball winnning machines. We know what these guys offer and in reality it is not enough.
There are some bloody good midfielders running around the state leagues. Need to give them a chance and we may get some real gems. Time to change

Yeah, it's a testing time. Interested to see what we do. On the cheap, I'd be talking to Michael Barlow.

But we've basically had our depth from 23-30 ripped out. I don't begrudge any of them but I'm curious to see what happens.

Really like Lloyd and what he has done for us. If he comes along in 1992, he plays 150 games.

Dare say some late picks or rookie picks might be experienced depth type players, delisted from other clubs or mature state league type players

The best of the lot in the two's, but he needs to his chance to play senior football.
Good on him.
Hopefully a pick in the 50's or swap of a player (jong)

I think the club has rightly come to realise that the cupboard is bare outside the best 22 for potential A and B+ midfielders. Whilst gutting the depth players is a risk, I think this is the only way we can genuinely prepare for succession and sustained success.

Agreed regarding Barlow!

Big exodus. Writing was on the wall.
I wonder if it's why some performances dropped off towards year's end. Reckon.

All the best to Sam. Popular Tiger.

Fly certainly implied that may be the case

It's a shame. I'd rather keep him.

Anyway onwards and upwards. What will we get for him as a trade? 3rd rounder at least I'd think for a top 25 player in a top 3 team in the AFL.

Dogs currently holds picks 6, 42, 59, 60, etc. I’m guessing 42 would be about the market price

Are you reporting an inside sourced piece of info or repeating Herald-Sun article by Sam Landesberger?
Just off Twitter mate, hard typing on the bus , with the firesale of fringies, be very interesting 1 what we get in n return an 2 do we hit draft or go another A grader ?

Funny over the years you hear people suggest trading 4 fringe players for a star , well this year it’s pretty much happening

Hopefully the exodus of Snipper, Reece, Townser and of course now Lloydy now doesnt send ripples through the playing group and its bond.

Lloydy Reece Townser and Snipper all very much loved players within the group.

This is significant list management.

I like Lloydy and wouldve been more than happy with him staying.

I would take him as a rookie pick.
