Sam Lloyd

Love Lloydy. Wish him all the best. The poaching of our fringe players was always going to happen.

Tough to lose Lloyd. Dusty Brownlow buddy and also a pretty good if not great user of the ball. Love his delivery i50 and finishing skills. Obviously lacks for a yard of pace but think he would have admirably filled a spot in the finals if selected. Wasn’t doing much wrong when he got dropped. Definitely best not in it the 22 for me in 18. Hopefully some of the younger blokes can go past where he was this year (baker?) - but not sure any have his forward line skills.

The best of the lot in the two's, but he needs to his chance to play senior football.
Good on him.
Hopefully a pick in the 50's or swap of a player (jong)

Doggies only have 2 picks this year - it won't be their first so maybe pick 42?

Shame. Lloyd miles ellis conca townsend is losing too much depth at once.

You can't begrudge any of them trying to get an opportunity to cement themselves in the starting 22 of another side. As nice as it's been to have some depth, these guys only have 1 chance at their AFL careers. Good luck to the lot of them.

Dogs Might give us future pick that we might use to bank points for Jnr Rioli if they dont have any other picks coming in.

They are going to move on a couple though so might trade in a pick to give us.

If Lloydy gets to extend his caeer and play more regular games at the Dogs then you cant begrudge him going.

#27 being freed up for Jnr Rioli ;D yes i know Maurice predominantly wore 17 but he also wore 27

Disappointed to see him go! So, I am counting six players who look like definites to play elsewhere next season; Lloyd, Conca, Miles, C. Ellis, Townsend and Stengle. All of these seem to be more than just rumours.

Agree totally

Good luck Lloydy

Love Sam, hope he rips it up with the Dogs but he and Miles can be replaced with the state league types in Aarts, Gibbons, Cavarra, Bewley, Grigg, Schloithe etc.

Good luck Sam...The dogs looking for another avenue to goal...

Gave my boy a signed ball after his last game as a senior tiger

:(

All the best Sam.

We will hear the name again I'm sure

Lloyd and pick #16 to Dogs for pick #6

Difference in points about a mid 20's pick, which is obviously Lloyd's correct value :)

Hopefully the exodus of Snipper, Reece, Townser and of course now Lloydy now doesnt send ripples through the playing group and its bond.
Lloydy Reece Townser and Snipper all very much loved players within the group.

Might do so if the club itself was offloading players but so far it's been players looking elsewhere for more opportunity at AFL level.

Most likely be for pick 42

I would be very happy to land pick 42 for him but before that this is apparently a super draft am not sure if we would get that for Sam.

Realistically... 29yo slow depth player who can’t get a game. Smart decision by the club.
