Sack Frawley

I think too many of you morons want to see the Tigers lose just so you can have a *smile* about it. How about some bloody support.

I think you are missing my point jackstar.
WHen you apply for a job your present your CV as your introduction.
In the case of our coach, I am tring to find anything in his career that says success. His cv would have read, stalwart of the Saints at full back, never shirked an issue, assistant to Tony Shaw at Collingwood where he coashed the 2s to the spoon and was tutored by a coach there, that was shown the door by his own club, and he is regarded as legend there too.

Now in the case of our recruiting manager, his cv follows suit.
Present at Collinwood when that club was nearly brought to its knees by the inept recruiting ability shown by him.

So how the hell do the tigers offer them the jobs when surely there had to be other apllications in the mix and one of them had to have something akin to some sort of pointer towards success.

i gatther you have just jumped on board the bandwagon pecky, so you havent suffered the frustration of the last 20 years.
If you have just jumped on the bandwagon then its either you are concerned and wanted to help the club along with a need for a pair of sunnies, if not not then the word moron must be a word you hear pretty often, because bandwagon is the furthest thing happening at tigerland at this point of time.
If however you have not just jumped on the bandwagon, then all i can say, i bow to the king, lets all us morons hail our leader.

Have been a passionate supporter / member for 26 years, if that's a bandwagon, yeah I jumped on you moron.

Spot on jackstar. That includes the players as well though. ;)

Our poor performance is a combination of things, not only the coach and not only the players.

Constructive critisism and sharing of opinions is great, outright bagging and personal insults aren't pleasant for anyone..

I think the RFC will weather any storm about Dudley as long as we win the occasional game that should keep everyone happy. I also think Dudley is coaching for his football life believing that he has a chance for 2005 and hell still be around. Well Dudley get us in the eight and play finals footy and only then we may change our tune. ;D

So how the hell can you come up with moronic statements that say some tiger supporters like to lose so they can bag people. Isnt it more likely to be a fact that we like to win to much and what is happening is everything but and we have had it with the positive speak and now are saying, time to change because we are not winning?

Isnt it a fact that every week for the last 18 we have seen our side go from bad to worse?

DO we just sit there and say nothing?, what sort of message will that send to the powers that be?
Oh the members are quiet, even talking us up in fact.
Give me a break and wake up to yourself, if it werent for the members that stand up and voice their opinions then we might even have Walls or Gieschen still there, and we would have people like you saying, keep it down they are doing a great job.

I dont go searching for positives, they stand out with out the need for microscopic examinations.
The only 3 positives this year is one, that we have a Nathan Brown, and we paid big money for him, and the 2 others are the 2 kids Harto and Techno, thats it.
Bottom line, the rest of the whole shabang has us the lughing stock of thr AFL, the committee doesnt know where to hide because it is now facing huge debts after blowing profits, we have buses coming down from Ballarat to support a family member, we have our own Tiger stalwarts being ridiculed by their own people because they stood up and said
they are worried.

Like what is happening with the Tigers? There are suburban footy clubs that are hav emore positives than us.
The only thing that sets us apart is that we have so many members. Once the newer members get fed up then we are gone, because i am slowly losng the passion as well, and when i see people like you calling supporters morons because as you suggest we like to see us lose then i wonder if it isnt the plan that the AFL has always wanted to implement and that is bring this club to its knees and get their wish when it
comes to less clubs in Melbourne.

So please dont let me stop you from expressing the other positives that you are hanging on to that i cant see.

Because pretty soon i will just not care anymore.
And there are a lot of us that are starting to get that feeling.

Well said dmx.

I fear your last points also.
People are getting fed up, the fickle ones among us will lose interest and we will no longer be one of the "big four", if we continue in this deplorable state.

The time has long passed for change, if the club won't give Frawley and our now dominant losing culture the flick, then appease us and let everyone know that we are looking for a new coach to get us out of our miserable state.

I'm a new member of PRE and a long time RFC member. What would you #*&% heads talk about if we were winning? How many games of AFL football played or coached by you guys, you have no idea how hard it is.

It's guys like you who give all Richmond supporters a bad name. You probably ring up SEN and AW too talking the same crap.

Yes we have been bad for a while, yes FraWley will go, yes we'll probably get Wallace and yes we'll probably improve. We can't sack 22 'duds' as you call them and no one of any substance will EVER coach us if we sack Frawley mid season the way we've sacked all the others. That's why we had to take second choice when we appointed Frawley ... no one wanted to coach a club who react to pressure from supporters like we do.

I hate losing too, but pride in performance, improvement in attitude from senior players, a clean out, astute drafting under Greg Miller and an orderly and dignified change of coach will get us far further than if the club reacts, once agian, to you morons as it has every few years since 1980.

Get off and go and follow Collingwood!!!

Well not said DMX.
If you dont care and you feel that way,I have a suggestion dont go to the footy.
It was good to see a good crowd come out last friday night and support the RFC.
It you hadnt noticed, it seemed the entire crowd was singing the song after the game.
As for only 3 postives, try adding these to your list.
1- Big positive is that the club captain played his best game so far this year after suffering a very serious injury last year.
2-Andrew Krakouer has developed into a very good on baller
3-At least we have a coach that isnt a space cadet ( Malcolm Blight) and he has embrcaed the club and does wear his heart on his sleeve, nothing wrong with that.
4- We have quality players to return in Richo, Stafford and Coughlan.
5- if you think we are bad, you didnt watch carlton yesterday.

Richardson Stafford and Coghlan all played against Melbourne and they were flogged. Melbourne are a classic case of a team we have played into form. The reason the crowd turned up is because its like watching a car accident you know it will be bad but can't help looking at it.

Hey Laff, do you ever have a bad day at your play of employment? thats right, your perfect. You should take over as coach .
Melbourne would be beat anyone at present or have your forgotten they gave Port a flogging.
Did you go Laff ?

Having spent the last half hour reading this entire thread, all I can see is jackstar refuting the "right" of others to post anything negaitve about the club as a whole, let alone the coaching staff.

Take a step back from that, jackstar, and see that you are in fact worse than everyone else - it's OK for you to have your say, but no-one else!!!!!

Instead of simply opposing what everyone else is saying (which is a very convenient stance to take), why don't you make a few suggestions as to how we should best concentrate our efforts to ensure success for RFC in the future??

Maybe, just maybe, everybody else is right and you're the one that's wrong. Just look at my sig below, jackstar - it epitomises you.

Read back through jackstars posts and see what he has to say about Richo and the players.. Slight double standards happening here. ;)

Hey Ozstick,
Maybe I am sick and tired of all the slagging and bagging RFC.ll the time. Yes, you are right, everyone is entitled to there opinion .
I have had my opinion expressed in what is wrong with the RFC club but sacking Danny Frawley isnt going to fix the problem ,is it ? We have tried this tack in the past or should I remind you of all the sacked coaches we have had, i think not.
The problem lies a lot deeper and the culture of the RFC club needs to be looked at before anything can change. Success starts at the top and works it way down.

Might also add that I believe as a team we arent good enough but you dont have to be Robinson Crusoe to work that out !

To all those constantly bagging the club, the coach and the players, cast your thoughts across to Melbourne. Had you all been Melbourne supporters last season you would have demanded the coach was sacked 12 to 20 players were delisted and an attempt was made to rebuild a devastated player list.

Melbourne didn't do that, they showed faith in their coach, developed their list and made it better and are pretty much dominating the League at the moment with pretty much the same list that won only 5 games with from last season.

Denis Pagan hit it on the head that at AFL level, performance is 90% above the shoulders. Our list for obvious reasons has had its confidence shattered for a month. Result the terrible losses that have our members baying for blood still.

Who knows now that they have got another win they may be able to get their confidence up and start winning consistently. For many of you every time we string some losses together you want to tear the place apart, now that’s a really good way to build confidence with the playing list.

Support the club for the season. If we are to replace Frawley do it the right way and with some dignity for the guy. In doing that we give ourselves a chance to secure a great replacement for him, we also do the right thing by him in giving him a chance to turn things around. Also give the playing list some time. Have a genuine look at it; it is a very young list, especially outside our leadership group. It needs time to get better.

Look at Melbourne and follow their lead from last season.

Finally to Tigertime, what a gutless individual you are, using supposed players quotes, no doubt if you were facing Frawley one on one you wouldn’t say a word. No name, no proof of a playing saying what they said, just conjecture.

Oh sorry Tigertime you are a moron you wouldn't know what conjecture means.

Melbourne has 1 thing we havent got ......theyve got Ben Holland  come back Ben after all were paying most of your salary.
