Berwick, Didn't you say earlier in this thread that you suspected Tigertime of being Spraying Phantom?? I think that assumption was a little closer to the mark.  ;D Anyone for cluedo??? I chose Spraying phantom in the kitchen with the lead pipe!  ;D ;D

Like everyone else says give frawley till the end of the season then we wont have to pay him out and then pay someone else. I hope Frawley turns this around and stays past this season. I know many would disagree, however i dont think a change of coach is the answer.

Get a caretaker coach as soon as its obvious we arent going to make the 8. Then the players are under notice its their last chance to prove themselves. From there we delist all the duds and move forward.

just like in 97.the players were left off the hook and after some stirling efforts won our last 5 from 7 i think.we appointed the caretaker coach 2 yrs later we sacked hm as well.
why sack spud mid-season when miller already has in his sights what players are staying and the ones that are not?

No point sacking mid season
The players should be aware that change is imminent for 2005.

As coaches have contracts so do the players.
How many of the duds are on long contracts beyond 2005 that we are going to be stuck with? Or they get traded to another club and we pay most of their salary whilst they play against us.

I would prefer to pay some portion of the salary & be done with them thus givin' some salary cap relief to try a new player.

But I do not agree in sacking Frawley. But IF he was sacked, I think a caretaker coach whould be that . Purely a caretaker & not to be considered for the long term. IE the poll I had last month.

Having The Geek appointed was a huge mistake & do not think he deos us any favours through the umps anyway.
