Round 13: the Crystal Pepsi games.

Need teams above us to have a 2-3 game buffer.

Tigers will win another half dozen games possibly.

Could end up ruining our already ruined season even more by ending up with pick 5 6, instead of 2. and missing the top top tier Mids, such as FOS, Smille, Jagga etc.
Yep. We could get some junk wins ( and by that I mean ending up 12th to 14th at year end) and we do ourselves out of top picks. Sure great for morale etc.. but I’m sure morale would be greater with pick 2

This round, I reckon I’ve seen 4 kicks at goal bounce before the defender near the goal line and then bounce over the defenders head.

It could even be more. And it could also include the last round.

Butler got one of the softest free kicks in the goal square I’ve ever seen. Mac Andrew ?went to push Butler in the chest and they both fell backwards on their arses. Fairly comical. :giggle:

Eagles losing is a bad result for the RFC.

100%. But pick 3 is about the worst we can get. The top 3 picks are gold. North plays the Eagles again plus us at Marvel. I did say if they go one win apiece north and Eagles in their two encounters that's fine. So hope Eagles win the next time they play with harley reid playing.

With so called bona d=fides in the top 3 -4 the Tigers need genuine elite mid juniors not second level ones.

We have a golden opportunity not seen in a long time to get one to add to Kane going forward, need to get another good quality mid after our first pick as well.

I can see the Tigers racking up too many pointless wins and missing the cream of the crop when we need to be at the front of the queue skimming it off the top.

I love Dimma but tonight's proves he isn't the a game day coach.
He has watched for 40 mins his team go slow and consistently kick the ball to stkilda and he has done nothing

Perfect conditions, new sherrins every 2 mins but 4 in 40 mins.
That's Hocking scoring has improved

Butler's had a very poor couple of years. Been subbed on or off 3 times this year. Higgins has been far more consistent and is much more dangerous around goals imo.

He is way too relaxed nowadays. He isn’t as intense in the box like he was with us. I believe he’s just reviewing all his players this year and then building from there. Sometimes having a plethora of young talent can slow you down in your first season as you need to find each players strengths and Weaknesses.

Glad Chol left. How does someone so lazy get rewarded with AFL footy?
Just played perhaps his best game ever today. You needed to listen to Dermi - he is really trying (usually) but is just so relaxed and laconic, it doesn't look like it. He is a talented African athlete after all.
Usain Bolt made 100/200m world records look easy!

They might make finals, might...but never win a GF.

What a game next week's gonna be now, but Dorks are NOT Richmond 2017.
Disagree - think they might just be the biggest improver over '24. And they are absolutely playing the Richmond game: high intensity and pressure; constant tackling; constantly attacking footy with forward handball; continuous hard running.

Unfortunately for Dusty's big game, they are going to be really tough to beat next week at the G. They have some young stars like Day, Weddle, McDonald, Jiath, Moore and even newbie Dear looks like a future star after a few games. Ruck about their only weakness.

The Umps seem to love them too.

I hope you’re right, but they’ve got a lot of AFL support as well as money to have a good crack. I really think this is their best chance in the next 5-6 years as Dimma has a good team behind him and a *smile* load of talent. Their only problem is do they have tat X factor game breaker like a Dusty, Franklin, Carey etc.? ATM I believe they don’t, but heavens knows what’s waiting for them in their Academy.

Don’t worry, I’m sure the club will be putting the necessary players into surgery early if need be and the kids will tire as the season progresses.
Kids might tire ... but I think we have had enough in for surgery already with 5 x AFL and 3 x VFL ACLs plus whatever others. o_O
