Round 12: the work meeting games.

They talk about us and North being in no-mans land but so is Port.
By the time Tassie comes in they will be rock bottom. They aren't a real destination club. Adelaide seem to attract the A grade quality ones Rankin & Dawson. While Port attract the likes of Ratonmygear Alir and the bloke that didn't touch it in the 19 GF. They got lucky when they got Butters & Rozee. Horne-Francis will be the best port player in 5 yrs time but after those 3 I don't see any A graders and in the words of Kano no All Australians. Marshall is a King clone. If it's not marked, no goals. Dixon was finished 2yrs ago. Dew is there Graham. Houston is an OK player nothing special. Who else??
Burn Jones??
They have given away more draft picks in the last 2-3 yrs then any other club.
And again this year there 1st pick is currently @ 36.
Good luck Josh

I can beat that. Had someone in our team about 6 months say that they sang in a church choir over the weekend, were exhausted, and therefore couldn't work at all on the Monday let alone attend the meeting.
I had one FIFO staff member who (again) couldn't get on a plane because of his wife's pregnancy with their first child.
Out of curiosity we checked dates of previous instances and it turns out his wife was at that time, 15 months pregnant!

Same guy couldn't fly to work because of his grandmother's funeral. This happened 3 times! Funny family having 3 Nannas

I don't like it.
Its not the game I loved anymore.
4 vs 4 in the middle.
Who ever wins the ball and has leg speed boots it forward.
There's nothing coming from front on and its basically a basketball tip off start in the centre.
It's crap
Yes it does feel more textureless due to less physical contests but it has to evolve or the game will die. Maybe it will anyway. Concussion will see many parents choosing other sports for their kids.

I worked with a guy who rang in about 9.30am and said he’d started coming to work but thought he’d left the gas stove on so returned home to check. Now that he was at home at 9.30am it was too late to come into work so he decided to stay home.

He hadn’t left the gas on btw……

Sam Darcy whacked Braynard. Well done boy.

Don't think it was the head so he should be OK.

Here we go. Forgotten rules again by these dumb flogs. Tackle a skunk.....play on....play on...

I'd have been shocked with that interpretation last week. But this week you just shake your head. They're hopeless, cheats or both.

Saw it last night and seeing it tonight - great midfielders just take off at centre bounces and round the ground ball ups and trust their ruckman to hit them on the move. Ours are so stagnant at the moment so even if our ruckman taps to them they are immediately caught.

What's side butt doing on the mark? Taking steps side to side. Is that to work out what they can get away with? Very odd.
