Robin Nahas

Averaging 13.7 touches in 2012, has kicked 27 goals, with just under 4 tackles per game.

Last year, he averaged 19.1 touches, kicked 29 goals, with 4.3 tackles per game.

One of many positions we need to upgrade to go the next level.

When the 2/2 interchange/sub role comes in next season he may be useful as one of the subs to provide impact late in a game.

Example of a very limited footballer who would be in and out of other teams but is a "first picked" at Punt Road. Have to be looking to replace him.

Turning into a front runner more & more is Robbie.

The tighter & more pressure the game, the less impact he has. Not a good thing for him as we try to climb the ladder.

The cause of this is being chronically one-sided & not strong enough one-on-one or over the ball. At his size these things arent going to change.

One of the first on the trade table for mine.

Disagree unless we suddenly find a top notch small forward or 2 out of nowhere or someone offers a deal that's too hard to refuse.

I understand people's frustrations with him but I'll keep saying it, look at the goal kicking list. We'd be in a lot more hurt without his 27 goals this year or his 30 odd the year before. No one else on the list can offer this right now. In the long term I have doubts over him being around but for now there's plenty of others we need to worry about.

Fair point/post Barnzy. His bottom line return reads quite well and if we are to excuse Reiwoldt because of the delivery in to the forard line (forward press?) then Robbie deserves equal if not more lattitude.

Nahas has a stephen milne type role for us where he will be absent some games and in the play consistently in others.
Is a bit like Milne was against tthe top sides -he is tooeasily shut out of a game.
When we make finals footy Robbie's style of footy won't be useful as finals are more physical contests.
Keep Shane Edwards- he is starting to show some class and appetite for the contest.

He has turned his season around in the last 4 weeks. His disposal count is down because he is getting less of a run through the middle but he will finish off the year with more than 30 goals if he doesnt get injured.

be good if he could find a left foot.

agree. Good evasive skills and can look elite when things fall his way and he doesn't need his left. But long term his lack of a left, remembering his job is to be fast and unpredictable, means he will only ever be OK. Good depth player.

Out of interest where is Robbie's contract at?
I actually rate Nahas somewhat but the old saying of you've got to give to get might ring true here.
He shapes as a genuine trade option but could we adequately replace his 30 goal average over the past two seasons??

Knights can replace the goal count if on song but not sure about his ability on the tackle front.
