He's also a foot longer than most guys.

I used to work with a guy who played a bit of TAC with Robin and can confirm this!!! That said, he looks to have got himself mega fit this year in both running and strength. He is running like a Kenyan but has built enough strength that he can put his body in and break a few tackles.

Well done young man for taking it upon yourself to improve.

Yeah its near impossible to have even the slightest of constructive criticism of a player on here of late without getting howled down.

You mean like yourself when someone criticizes Cotchin. :)

I was not referring to the Port game but please get a copy of that game and have a look , he played really poorly especially in the 2nd quarter when Port kicked 10-11 goals from memory. He had a bad year last year which was topped off by a really bad game in round 22 . I was not giving an opinion on one game . He had a poor year in 2010, he admits that himself.
He is playing great for whatever reason which I am really happy with and I was wrong in my assessment of him . I was actually trying to highlight how much the guy had improved as a real positive for him and the Club
Hopefully that is clear now
Agree Sing, was at the Port game and he was simply awful. I'm sure it was discussed on PRE that it could have been his last game. The turnaround is stunning, reckon would be Top 5 in our B&F at the moment.

i remember the port game well and no doubt he fluffed a few kicks pretty badly. it didn't look good and i feared for his future. he probably did himself remembering the looks on his face that day.

as we all know going into that game he was under pressure, was out of contract, had been in and out of the team towards the end of the season and probably thought he was playing for his career. knowing all of that he amassed a career high disposal count of 21, kicked 1 goal 2 behinds and had 4 tackles.

i give the kid one thing that day, he didn't drop his head and go into his shell. he kept on getting the pill. he never gave up and he fought it out when all looked doomed. no doubt this didn't go unnoticed by the coaches and he was rewarded with a new contract and rewarded the the clubs faith by working his arse off in the pre season.

that takes heart and this kid is all heart

PLayed well again. one of only a few to continue to run and make the play. Improvement is amazing, suggest the EPO and HGH testers may have paid him a visit.

has come along way this year, considering my last meaningful memory of him was rnd 22 last year.
a great pre season can go a long way

Insightful comment. There may be a job for you on our coaching staff with these remarkable observations.

I wouldn't say he cost the game either, nothing like it. Love his running atm and again today, but on the whole was just ordinary I thought.

tries hard but his lack of size and strength are huge drawbacks
fairly much useless in marking contests the same can be said about nason.
tigers can only afford to play two midgets at most, to many smalls.
