Robin Nahas

Have been critical of his disposal - this has improved greatly. Takes the game on, which is important at times when up against a good pressing side.

always sets the tone for us and ignites us when we need it. very valuable to the way we play and take on the game.

Bloody hell.

Robbie has a couple of cracking games and suddenly he is our next Wiley/Bartlett/Weightman.

Great to see him playing so well the last 2 weeks, but lets keep things in perspective. Late last year he was no certainty to even be on our list this year.

So he still has some way to go. He has set a standard for himself now, and while I do not expect that he will be able to maintain it game in game out, I am looking for a much higher level of average output.

Great we know he can do it, but the real challenge lies ahead Robbie.

Prove yourself.

Certainly.

But it's great to see that he actually capable of doing it.

And it is up to him to continue it.

IN our 3 wins Nahas has been in our best 3.

I won't say he gets better each game, but last nights match wasn't far behind the Lions game.

Playing with belief which is giving him consistancy, its like a switch has been activiated that has allowed him to know he belongs.

His impact to the plus of this side cannot be undervalued IMO, hes showing everyone else how its done.

Agree. I reckon its dangerous to think of him of a 24 year old (or whatever he is). Rather, we should see him as a developing kid with 20-odd games under his belt. King is mature age and played ~80 games. Nahas is doing very well for someone who has only played ~25 games at this level.

Yep. When we are in the defensive 50 and look static he is always looking to play on and run and carry which makes the other players do the same. Well done Nachos!

Interesting comment I read that most teams are trying to emulate Collingwood with hard pushing spreads out to the flanks and playing along the flanks. The Tigers seem to be taking the opposite approach and playing as quickly as possible straight down the corridor. This is a pleasing aspect to see. We are using our strengths, that being speed, to break through opposition defenses. Early days but gee I can't rememebr such a promising gameplan for a very very long time.

Yeah its good to see Hardwick sticking to his guns and not copying the reigning premier.

7 Consistently good games down... 14 to go.

Exactly what Hardwick has said for many of our players. We know the best they can play is good, but wants to see improvement in their worst games.

Amazing transformation.

Must be extremely fit the amount of burst power running he now does. That fitness has been the key ingredient to his current success.

Good on him.

Evidently had a poor pre season last year, while this year's has been strong and uninterrupted.
It's critical how a good pre season can set up a player (and team) for the season.

Speedy Gonzales

By his own admission, did not work hard enough last year and thought his 2009 form would carry him. He's just so bloody excited to be out there

Compare this footballer to the one we saw against Port at Etihad last year----I honestly though I was watching his last . Incredible!

Has certainly got himself super fit and it's paying dividends. I can believe how many times he will kick the ball 45m then be there a few seconds later running to receive!
