Robin Nahas

Our single best player.

Kept presenting & was one of the few that was sure with the ball when his teammates werent.

Hard work is making him a career. Good on him.

Not saying he did not try hard.
But he turns it over by foot run up and down on the spot
He has no left foot what so ever.

We have not had a good start to any game this year.
The dog had kicked the first two goal. We had a period where we had more of the ball and just had to kick a goal to get us going.
Nahas got the and rran it forward he kick the ball on the outside of his foot again as he has no left and turn the ball over.
He hits a target we kick the goal and we win.

But no he missed the target they get and go on the kick the next 4 or goals game over.
That is how he cost us the game.

Robin Hood Round 8.

Player K HB D M G B T GA I50 FF FA
Nahas 13 18 31 8 0 0 5 2 6 0 0

What the numbers mean:

Leading disposals for the tigers. Second behind Boyd 32.
Second equal marks with Vickery and Gilbee.
Leading inside 50s for tigers with Jackson. Ofcourse quality over quantity? Third overall.
He's a speedster that loves to get in there and around heat zones, equal first with HB with Lids and Hudson(18).
Third in tackles for tigers behind jackson and foley who had 6. Equal 8th overall.

In addition, yes you may say his 'too small', 'too skinny', 'has no left foot', plus whatever neg stuff.
But never gives up, always goes for second, third, fourth efforts.
Has a tank the army would be jealous of.
Worked his *smile* butt of in pre-season to prove himself and he has. Plus more.
Can't name a player off the top of my head that "wants the ball" so much, in terms of dedication to getting their first etc.
Not to say in a hungry/hog way but of determination for the guernsey ...

Anyway thats enough from me. Just doing my weekly stat update of my little man.

Now thats what I call drawing a long bow. The dogs were irresistible today no way a goal at that stage would have stopped them.

Cost us the game today.
When are we going to find players that can kick with both feet.

We better trade Martin quick smart. ;)

Without wishing to sound like Aker...with the revelation that the AFL are target-testing players for EPO, it wouldn't surprise if Nahas was on the 'watch' list. Remarkable improvement.

Gee he's become an important player for us this year. Loved his work in the 2nd half & was instrumental in the win.
Just doing it every week atm.

Yep was kept quiet in the forst half but then had 14 possessions and 2 goals after half time. The goal he kicked in the last quarter which steadied the ship was a good one too.

Compared to the previous rounds it is fair to say that littel Robbie had a quiet one.
In terms of stats of course.

9th in Tiger disposals. Equal 11th overall.
2 goals, 1 behind. + 1 goal assist = 3 goal contributions.
To see low tackles and HB gets it proves the oppoistion is starting to feel his presence and trying to tag him out of the game.
Can't remember who his main opponents were for the day though.

Not much to contribute today, boss is in the office. :flush

If that's a quiet game he can play a quiet one every week!

To me i didnt expect such low numbers, because his presence was definetly felt. Goes to show its quality over quantity!!
And his efficiency this year is impecable.

Geez I was wrapped to see him have a major influence in the 2nd half after a quiet 1st half with a tight tag.Come a bloody long way, I didnt see any future with him. Was talkin to ToT70 at the footy and we mentioned how he (RN) said at Club80 his poor work rate re training an DH has iddentified that an his gone full circle

Says a lot about his improvement if the Bombers decided to put a tight tag on him.

Even more so that he got away from the tag in the second half.

he was tagged heavily but fought his way into the game and below average 19 disposal effort on saturday would have been a career high in 22 last season so his improvement has been a dramatic one.
