I'm not sure to pursure Talia it's either one for me don't need both.I would also like us (pending physical) to go after Talia.
Tarrant can play, although prone to sillu decision making at times but a good player, player vs player i see him as an upgrade on Dave.
Given our last 3 years of injuries it really does take a club to win flags, as most have agreed with we are light after Dave retiring and if we can get 15-20 + finalsm games out of a talie/tarrant combo we would be covered in Defence.
Mid is the area we really need Dow, Ross & RCD to come on, even with our great draft hand without grabbing a a good one in offseason we will be light on for a tilt as Dion/Cotch/Edwards etc are also 10-20 + finals propositions and as we saw this year we just didnt have the depth to cover such great players out all at one time, we need to bolster Mids urgently to push again.
Forwards i think we need a teague or a different forwards coach, we have enough firepower IMO, lets hope they can sort these two things out and i think we are well placed to contend again.
He did make a desperate plea for Dusty to come play with him in 2017, maybe he can come here to play with DustyCould we do the double and get Ziebell? Forget this backline experiment the Roos had him doing. Stick him in the guts.
He was the 2nd best key defender in the comp from 2016 - 2019 after RanceI am, but offering a 32 year old 2 years,
is way more than twice as bad as offering a 30 yo a 2 yr deal.
Not saying its a disaster, or that Robbie might not get a premiership medal,
but if im being honest,
It rocks my confidence in the recent adage,
that everything the rfc does, is the right thing to do.
to be honest, Robbie Tarrant is one of those players that ive never ever noticed play.
I'm not sure to pursure Talia it's either one for me don't need both.
Agree on the forward line needs a revamp was bad this year especially small forwards need sorting out big time.
if we can snag one more premiership, and throw everything at that , I think most of us would accept a painful bottoming out down the track
why not , let’s have a crack
That didn’t age well.Interestingly it looks like we might have had an interest in Tarrant for quite a while if you read the article below from 2 July 21.
Especially the line - NORTH Melbourne coach David Noble expects veteran Robbie Tarrant to retire a one-club player despite expected interest in the key defender from premiership contenders.
Two-club Tarrant? Not on Noble's watch
David Noble has weighed in on veteran Robbie Tarrant's playing futurewww.afl.com.au
Tarrant is a done deal, 2 years.I would have to say, if we take Tarrant, no way we go after Talia as well.
I think we assumed DTLD wasn’t going to retireWouldn't be surprised if Richmond planned it a year out.
Cmon Tooheys , it makes Norf weaker and that is a bloody good thingHonestly not sure how I feel about this.
Great player at his best but a couple of years older than the guy who just retired.
Fingers crossed it works out.
Dave told the club and leadership group mid year.I think we assumed DTLD wasn’t going to retire
Everything isn’t equal with regards to age. A 36 year old polled 20 Brownlow votes last night…Honestly not sure how I feel about this.

True there are always exceptions. The odds say that Tarrant's best footy isn't in front of him however.Everything isn’t equal with regards to age. A 36 year old polled 20 Brownlow votes last night…
