Rhyan Mansell welcome to Tigerland

Gave them away for peanuts as well while other clubs pillage for picks. Biting us hard now
Over the period of 17-2021 they (Clarke & co) acted like hero's.
We didn't let go 34 yr olds we let go 20 yr olds.
The worse piece of arrogance was after the 2020 GF win we give our 1st pick to Geelong and they use it to get Holmes.
Holmes is AA quality. How good would he had been on the G?
They shouldve had us still challenging.
We have had 25 picks since we beat Adelaide in 17. Besides Balta who else is AA quality??
The 5 in 30 just after the covid years was and has been a disaster.
At least in 2004 we got Deledio.
Why didn't we go after Hollands? 20 yr old kid, top 10 selection, 3rd rounder???
Nah we can use it to select Samson's or Sony's.
I feel for Rioli Vaulstin and Nakas they couldve been 5 time premiership players

Not shocked that Mansell doesn’t get the criticism that’s deserved of a player that got a 2 year extension after his invisible performance yesterday
Seems it’s a pile on on Cumbo while Mansell avoids scrutiny gets away with doing *smile* all again

Mansell competed in the air, defended, chased and provided an option when he could. He wasn't great but given the circumstances of the game busted his nut. And he kicked a goal.

But whatever.

Agree not the problem. We only had 42 inside 50’s for the night. That is not a Richmond game.

I'm not a fan, but he wasn't the problem last night. Had a crack, but he isn't and will never be quality. Given where our list is and what's on it, we don't have many options other than to continue to play him as a defensive small forward.

Nearly everything Mansell does is good. To level up he has to get better numbers. More involvement. More production.

We were off yesterday. Interesting time for us after the byes. Mansell? We can easily measure his progress. Not 10 touches. 15. Then 20.

Coulthard should be playing before this bloke. Forget his vfl stats. Has class, can run and rove a pack

FMD. He's been going bog average at magoos level since he came back from injury this season, been plenty of vacancies he could have slotted into this year but hasn't looked likely.

Give the bloke 4 weeks as a permanent forward pocket. He was majestic when he came on for his debut game.

Coulthard is looking like a low cost bust. Has lots of great tools, doesn't looks like he has the passion.

Yeah I thought he was ok yesterday. People say he was invisible, but 11 disposals when we didn't have the ball forward much is not that bad.

Bizarre that our resident Cumbo cheerleader calls it a pileon for Cumbo and claiming Mansell was as bad. Not sure how anyone can literally say that with any sort of a straight face.

We could try Green to see what he can give us as he is hungry for the big time and has shown talent and big improvements since being at the club at VFL level

Plays an important role

Here’s an interesting question- who is a better footballer, Mitch Morton or Mansell?

The answer probably indicates a lot about what you prefer in your footballers.
No right or wrong really, just individual preference

Mansell got a few cheap disposals in junk time in the last 3 minutes
Cumbo was *smile* too so was Mansell but Mansell is the one with the 2 year extension So well get to see him battle on for 2 more years

So we get another 2 years of moping that Cumbo was a better player as he kicks bags in the O&M while Mansell competes in the AFL.
Great.
