Reece Conca - so long and thanks for all the fish

Re: Reece "Squirrel" Conca

I'm waiting for a banner in the cheer squad.
The ConcaRoar with Conca in a Roman gladiator styled helmet.

Cmon kids get cracking. :)

Spot on. Same with the Cotch is the next Ablett claim. I'd much prefer to concentrate on what they are actually doing rather than what they might/or might not be like one day. I'm glad they are both Tigers.

Stylistically, Cotchin is already playing like Ablett, that is the here and now. He may not be matching the freakish numbers that Gazza produces week in, week out, but he is tracking well ahead of Ablett at an equivalent age.

Re: Reece "Squirrel" Conca

Disappointed with Conca's game today. After his best game in the yellow and black against the Dees last week he made at least 4 glaring errors in today's match that were extremely costly. Although not alone, I would have liked a better performance.

I'll need to watch the replay, but he was almost a liability today. Hopefully he'll bounce back against the Weagles next week.

Re: Reece "Squirrel" Conca

He's penciled in for second year blues. I hope today was the aberation and not last week.

His howlers stood out like dog balls but he also did a lot of good work in the process. Nothing to worry about here, just a few awareness issues which should be sorted out in due course.

Re: Reece "Squirrel" Conca

Haven't watched the bump incident since the game - is he in any strife? The Geelong player at least came back on and played the game out.

Let's just say if he was Chris Judd nothing to worry about. But he isn't, and he plays for Richmond with his already previous soft suspension in the Pre season. He will probably get a week.

Re: Reece "Squirrel" Conca

from one of the camera angles his shoulder makes no contact with christensens head, it was concas chest. and conca also made contact with the ball before he hit christensen.

Re: Reece "Squirrel" Conca

Hopefully he doesnt get screwed again by the MRP. Nothing in it.

Has become a very important player in the side. Apart from a few handballs that he missed at the end, has been a standout since coming back. One of the very few SMART footballers we have in our side.
