Agree.vinpaul said:Kicking is not elite, but over short and medium distances it is very very good. He is not a long or a very penetrating kick however. Overall very happy with Concs.

He was unlucky with that one . I thought it was goal live . Haven't seen the replay but it looked through from where i was and I was relatively close .Leysy Days said:That gather & quick kick at goal that was just touched on the weekend was class.
Will be interesting next weekend against West Coast where Cousins will sit with. The Eagles or Richmond camp. ;DTango said:id like to see cousins back at the club working with conca, chimp, lids and martin.... teach them how to gut run
DragicevicFan said:Looks to be struggling a bit with his depth of kick at the moment.
A couple of shots he has had from 50m have fallen short in recent weeks, hope the heavy workload he has done this season is not doing too much damage.
Freo and Hawthorn by memory and he mentioned there was another I thinkJason King said:Wondering whether Reece would have slipped to our second pick ? I know its all hindsight, but was anyone else genuinely interested in Reece ?

23. REECE CONCA
(Perth, 18, 185cm, 79kg)
Add him to the list of solid, safe midfield bets. Goes after the ball when it's his turn, uses it well and can play in all parts of the ground. Keeps running, and plays with some burst. Perhaps doesn't have the polish of some of the other onballers, but is neat and a safe mark. Impressive attitude helps push him up the order.
Where will he be picked?
High. He's been talked about as a chance for Richmond at No. 6, and will possibly head to the Gold Coast at No. 9, No. 10, No. 11 or No. 13.

5. DYSON HEPPELL
(Gippsland Power, 18, 189cm, 80kg)
One of those players who seems to know — or decide — what will happen next. A tall onballer, he can get involved by sweeping the ball off half-back and carrying that involvement through the middle. Can read the ball well through the air, mark and knows what to do next with his long left-foot kick. An assured, grounded teenager who will be the best he can be.
Where will he be picked?
Probably by the Brisbane Lions at No. 5. Unlikely to get past Richmond if he's there at 6

Reece showed some unbelievable courage when he knocked Stokes out a few games back, total eyes for the footy
