Outside midfielder with great pace and booming kick with the ability to go foward and back, Nick is a good user of the ball and you can never have enough of the fast midfielders that can cause damage on the scoreboard

Pick 31. West Coast
Nick Robertson - Midfielder (West Perth)
Height:191cm
Weight:88kg
Born:3/6/95
West Coast continue to focus on their midfield with another homegrown good size midfielder. Robertson has elite endurance and hunts the footy hard and has a nice defensive side to his game. Had an injury interrupted year, and this has possibly led to him slipping this far in a shallow draft.

Pick 33 Brisbane Lions
Darcy Hourigan 191cm 93kg
Not quite key position size Darcy has the ability to play that role, think Jack Darling and thats the type of player your getting.
Lightning quick on the lead and a great mark makes him a tough match up and a powerful kick easily covering the 50m.
Darcy is the youngest player ever to play SANFL seniors making his debut as a 15 year old and the Lions feel that will hold him in good stead to play senior footy sooner rather than later.
Will need a big preseason to build a tank.

Another Darcy to the Lions, this one been a very talented ruckman in the Dean Cox mould.
A very effective tap ruckman that is not out of place in the forward line where his good marking and excellent kicking make him a perfect partner for Luenberger
Some might think this is a little early but without a pick till the 60's its now or never and the Lions are happy to get Darcy with this pick and certainly fills a desperate need

After a quick analysis of the Femantle list and up and coming teams there are less and less sub 180cm players coming in. Fremantle have chosen to continue this thinking by, at pick 37, choosing:
