Lock in Naish to be taken as father-son.

Patrick Naish has made the level one academy group (for 2017 draft prospects).

So your boy made it? Hope so.

Another month or so till they name it. He played pretty well in the praccy matches last week, so fingers crossed. I think he'll make the extended list but he's still only 16 so gets 2 years crack at it. They don't play many bottom agers, maybe one or two games late next season.

Would be good for our club to give updates mid year and end of season on possible father sons 14 years and older, and throw some super viagra at richo , whom I hope like hell has an afair with an elite female athlete.

After some googling and stuff, apparently two clubs are Eligible to pick Maurice Rioli junior as a father son, Richmond and Fremantle.

Maurice senior played 136? Games for South Fremantle and 118? So young MJ has the right to select which team he plays for if both teams activate the father son rule in 2019.

Two Riolis in the one team. Is that even legal?

The minimum WAFL games for eligibility is 150, so MJ is all ours.

Wikipedia says he played 168 games for South Fremantle, so yeah would also be eligible for Freo

No, he's not. I did a bit of further digging.

From Wikipedia page on f/son rule:
West Australian and South Australian teams
These four clubs have a modified rule in place, valid until the club has been in the AFL for 20 years, with eligibility to be determined by a certain number of games played for specific sides in state league, if those games were played prior to the club entering the AFL.

Freo's hold on sons of South Freo players ends this year. From now on any fathers must have played AFL footy for Freo for their sons to be eligible.

Maurice Jr is all ours.

Delighted to hear that and mucho gratias for clarifying it. Read elsewhere today that we have already had him down for a tour of PR.
So I think the club are all over it - relax.
Let's just hope the gene pool runs true but he grows 10cm taller and runs a second faster. If anything like MR, scarey!!

I do believe Christmas just came early.

Thanks to Big Footy. Puts MRJr at 13 with a Sept 1 birthday.

Aren't Roach and Raines our last production of nearly 10 years ago?

Surely, some 90s players should be able to give us new stock by now.

More than 10 years ago.

Two Lamberts, a Naish and a Broderick on the way in the next 2-3 years.

Some one needs to have a serious talk with Richo, needs to hook up with a athletic girl and start pumping out kids
