Pick 53: Jack Graham

He'll get the tank. Took Dusty a few years to develop one. Looks like a footballer. Reckon a few clubs are asking themselves how they let him go at #53.

Swans player with 3 kicks won the Rising Star nom??

Yes surprised by that, he did kick 3 goals but would have to consider himself a tad lucky.

How good is he below his knees? Extremely clean and very comfortable with the picking up the ball off the deck. One touch footballer.
I am a big fan already.

Simple old fashion footballer. Does the simple things really well, competes and runs all day. Brain engaged and composed all day long.

Looks like a clean, hardrunning, highly skilled, Premiership winning centre man to me

18 disposals and 29 pressure acts (#1) for the club. Wow, and that's only game two.

Has shown up Corey Ellis"s deficiencies for a first round pick in 2 games.

Graham could help minimise the damage of the Lennon and C Ellis first rounders.

Shai and Jack may be a fantastic draft lets just hope if they do become guns that we can keep em both.

There's an article on the club site about how Jack is thrilled to be in line for selection for his first final. Looks like we can ink him.

What's his tank like?

Reading he's playing 69% game time.

Is it likely to work against us going into a final? Does he play VFL this week?

Want to beat Geelong you have to beat them at the coalface and then burn them on the outside. No way Graham gets dropped imo. Value for time on ground is outstanding. Loves the contest and is a tackling machine who runs both ways. Stinks of September footy and looks at home playing on the G.

Good thinking. Absorb the heat and get them on the outside. Should be easier to get outside at the G than at the Kardinia Sewer Pipe

He blew up in first game early which is expected given first game but was still going strong at the end. Last game he came on later and was still strong late.

It would only take an additional 2 minutes each quarter to take his TOG to 75% and he can rest forward and have an impact on what he has shown so far.

Plays for mine

Played 63% first game, 69% second game. For comparison, last game Rioli played 72% as did McIntosh and Markov 73%. Previous game to that Markov played 69%, Broad 71%, McIntosh 73%.

So he's thereabouts with his game time for the youngsters.
