Pick 53: Jack Graham

Bit scrappy. Old-fashioned. Chubber with baby legs. Doesn't look the part. Few of the type make it. Absolutely certain to go late but not fall as far as rookie. Larke medal. Captaincy. Ballwinning. But 1000000/1 of going before #25.

The body. The athlete. The polish. Not a saleable package. Unfashionable. Injury-prone.

Sounds alot like an unassuming Collingwood gun of the last 10 years covered in tatts who won a Brownlow.

Keen to see Jack playbut let's wait and see how he progresses to AFL level before writing off other proven players.

Thats how we roll at PRE, we don't just stop at players, we have a crack at the board, appointed admin and even the coaches, you can take you pick or just throw a dart.

C Ellis upgrade! I hope they don't drop Miles, no point having all the pace around the ball without having a few genuine extractors. Has a 24yo body already.

hope he plays. at the expense of who though? Logically he replaces Miles, but he was excellent against The Suns.

entirely different player to Cellis, who I hope gets another week.

could be wet? Miles, Dion, Jack and Josh would be a pretty good wet on-ball div youde reckon

Yeah possibly Ellis you'd think. Prestia unlikely to be back as well if Graham gets a look in.

i think its a perfect fortnight to see if the whole team can step up for a decent crack at September campaign. Our leaders need to be big, the kids need to find early season spark, the rest need to support the kids and leaders. Our systems, our style, our progress gets a good review over the month of August.

Beat a resurgent hawthorn team
Beat the cats in the hostile back yard
Beat Freo who as always hard to beat over there. extract some revenge for that awful last 21 seconds we played last time at the G
Beat St Kilda who might have both the Finals on the line and N Riewoldts last game!

HUGE August !

Interupted Pres-Season, Interupted Season, Injuries... I'd be more inclined to give him a few more games in the twos to make double sure he is fit.

Big expectations on the kid already.

If he does come in I hope its for Grigg not CEllis.

Not sure about big expectations on the kid.He goes hard and fast both ways. He'll be right!

best hand full of VFL games I have seen live from any first year kid at Richmond for some time..... Looked like a 50-100 game player returning to the VFL post an injury. Composed, hard at it, skillful. You just know when some players have the ball and seem to have all the time in the world to make the right call, he is one of them.
