Pick 53: Jack Graham

Only a couple of weeks away from being available for selection. Give him a couple of games at VFL level and then drop him into our midfield group in the seniors.

Dreaming.

Zero chance of playing one's this year let alone after two games.

He's a Vanilla Ice guy. Wax a chump like a candle. Slice like a ninja, cut like a razor blade.

If there's a problem, yo, he'll solve it.

I'm pretty hopeful that if we can get him to full training within a month of the byes he'll debut this year, gf.

(Just read that Jack is listed by the club as only two dog years off. Could be on track.)

Again, unrealistic expectations. Let's hope he shows, in bursts that he is capable of playing some good VFL footy.

Nurse him to the end of the year and get him ready for what essentially will be his first preseason.

Key thing is that he gets the body right, gets some game time at VFL level so we can all see what he offers and then take it from there.

There should be no expectations on what he might deliver this year as he has had quite significant injuries.

If he comes to hand quickly bonus for all concerned (except the new Mcbean).

The word I'm hearing on this guy is he is a star and will be big pick up for us when the dust settles on our draft pick results. If he's ready we should put him in asap.

With a name like Graham he's bound to be one of our greats

Was cruelled with injury in his draft year, no pre-season and no regular season training. Have not seen him kick a ball in anger so don't understand the hype. If he just has an uninterrupted run in the two's for rest of the season that would do me and then smash out a pre-season. No way will he impact in 2017!.

Kid was a gun, big bodied mid at under 18 level. Won the Larke medal for best player coming off some major injuries n almost no pre season.

Two major issues for him are his injury probs, which have carried through into this year, plus how much development and improvement is left in him as he was already very physically developed at under18 level. He slid a long way in the draft, perhaps for good reason. If he gets his body right n can elevate to AFL level with his junior dominance standards we'll have a major steal.

He also might be another one that we have on the list that could be crocked, along with Conca, Griffiths, Drummond, Hampson and Prestia.

Fingers crossed that's not the case.

With barely a run in pre season , I'd doubt 2 weeks at vfl would do it , try a month , minimum , am happy with that , no rush with 19yo
