Pick 53: Jack Graham

That's disappointing for Graham. The injury will take some time to heal. We might see him very late in the season play in the VFL team.

Oh well S & C for the rest of the year, come back have a cracker pre-season next year and hit the ground like a new recruit!

On the plus side, I suppose it also gives the quad and hamstring more time to strengthen.

The website suggested a minor fracture. Let's hope Jack gets back on track sooner rather than later.

yeah. cant hurt the kid long term.

Hopefully we get a look at this kid before the year is out.

Fingers crossed he is an upgrade on Miles.

I think I read his about 4 weeks from running, don't know how long that means till he plays

Only a couple of weeks away from being available for selection. Give him a couple of games at VFL level and then drop him into our midfield group in the seniors. Barring major injuries to other players and fingers crossed we regain Griffiths to hold down CHF we may surprise come finals. I'm hoping with Graham's AFL ready body that he will have an immediate positive influence on our midfield group. Imagine how Cotch and Dusty will go with another hardnut taking the heat in the midfield along with Prestia and Caddy and our mosquito fleet humming up forward. Exciting times considering we should have won those close losses against top sides. I think with our gun veterans now creeping up to the age of 30 we need to land a couple of big fish next year to win the flag otherwise our window will close fairly quickly once their current output starts declining. The time is now to either go all in to win it next year or trade a couple of our older guns so that we can draft some young guns who will develop with our younger brigade and have a proper tilt in about 4 to 5 years. Can't sit on the fence at this stage because if we do we will stay a middle of the road side for the next 10 years.

Has Jack actually played a game of footy yet this year?
Massive call to think a kid's somehow going to have an influence at senior level after a couple of VFL games when he's missed half his first year injured.

Is this bloke another vanilla nice guy pick??
He's a Vanilla Ice guy. Wax a chump like a candle. Slice like a ninja, cut like a razor blade.

If there's a problem, yo, he'll solve it.
