Jesus, Bully. I don't know what I'd do.

I just see Roughead written all over this boy. So mobile, so good with the ball on the ground, reads the ball in the air so well. I only like the two tallls that are going to fall and might be available at our pick.

I'm conflicted. I don't see a clear pick. This draft is wide open.

I only know what I have seen from the highlight reels and what I read (great work on this board Scoop, Bully and Gus) but I really hope we get Weller, he is just what we need. If not him then Cocky. Would be interesting if Wright or Durdin fell but I'd still prefer Weller.

Durdin is a quality prospect, his marking and mobility is superb. I can understand why Adelaide traded down, they stand an excellent chance of getting the player they would have selected at 10.

It sure is a tough call, both Weller & Cocky are the run & carry types we are craving.

Why the hell does FJ have to think he's so smart that he picks a player no other club has really talked about as a top 20 prospect. He did it with conca a player out of the blue. Now again with Ellis.
Ellis is workman like not a genuine star, and will add nothing new or dynamic to our team.
Why is he even being considered at 12. Geezzzz

So 12 players are being invited to the draft this year. Always the top 10 plus 2 others.

Ahern, Wright , Lever have been invited.

Read of that what you may.

Gold Coast yet to finalise their order, straight from the horses mouth who I asked (I wont reveal who, but let's just say he has a big say in who they pick)
Touk Miller was in line for their first pick in Mid July, just shows how quickly things change

If a Wright or a Durdin is available at our pick we wouldn't be doing our due diligence if we didn't consider these guys.

The conundrum will be if 3 or 4 out of Wright/Durdin/Weller/Ahern/Duggan are all available at 12. Do we go a talented tall or go the player who could add to our midfield stocks?

I would be more than happy with either Wright/Durdin or Weller if available, even Ahern.

Duggan is a fallback option for me if the others have been picked up already.

It is good we will have some good options to consider at not only #12 but also #33. Interesting times.

Glad we ended up keeping our 1st rounder.

If you have proof these are the only 2 the club wants LMK, as I won't renew my membership ever again. This would show the club doesn't know the meaning of "due diligence".

On another note, going by your previous strike rate, maybe the opposite is true...we aren't into Duggan or Ellis. That I could live with.

Add to that, you'd think, Pickett, Petracca, Brayshaw, Goddard (to GWS if TTT's whisper is correct), Laverde, Duggan (again if TTT's whisper is correct), McCartin, Moore
and maybe Degoey. So that's 12.

Assuming Petracca
McCartin
Moore (definite)
Brayshaw
Pickett
Ahern Wright Lever (Assuming MTigers whisper is spot on)
Goddard Laverde Duggan (Assuming Tora's whisper is correct)

That's 11. So we would be picking from any of De goey, Weller, Cocky, Ellis :( Durdin or any of the above who dropped

My source does not claim Duggan is a lock for GC but they are looking very closely.
