Pick 12 discussion.

As I'm not Nostradamus I won't mind gettin Ellis or any of the others that are been mentioned , they all look good to me but none look superstars, reckon this might known as the foot soldiers draft
 
Like last year, our recruiters have done all their looking and reviewing of many, many players. They have narrowed the main draft down to 30 - 40 players, in order, and so as each player is drafted by each club, we will simply select the next best "rated" player on our list that is still available. Of the potential "sliders" Laverde seems very good, and I've heard he is a bit of a chance to get to us.
And just on Ellis, and I'm really asking those who have seen games of his, and not just the highlights clip on the AFL website, does he look a bit like Black, from Brisbane? Certainly not quick over the ground, which Black wasn't, but really set it up nicely for his teammates. A bit like Broderick too.

Still reckon it's wide open. Anyone from 5-20.

Could not possibly say who goes at what spot.

But Ellis looks like a Conca clone. Fitting another plodder in won't help us get better.

Ellis seems to be the media favourite for us but most highlights I've seen have not being in the midfield. Looks a tad slow with just chip kick kicking style. Can't see anything convincing in him for a 1st round pick.
