NRL

Easts dropped out of the top 5 in the Queensland cup last round. A win over Central has them back in for the moment, but they will drop out again if Tweed Heads beat Wynnum-Manly.

Shaun Berrigan has signed to play with Hull FC in the English competition from next year. I wonder how many more will abandon the horse this year?

Brad Thorn

Dane Carlaw

Tame Toupou

Brent Tate

Looks like Civoniceva is going also!!

The haemorrhage of stars from the NRL to Super League has got to stop its a disgrace FFS.

Great win by Storm, great 1st half where they slaughtered the Cowboys.Must thank Brian Smith for releasing Clint Newton, why we wouldn't offer him a contract is beyond me.Hopefully Storm can find salary cap room for him next year.

Changes need to be made to the Blues for SOO3 and the future.

First change ought to be Jarrod Mullen back in for Anasta(who looks like he has a busted hand anyway). If that happens Kimmorley will stay at halback. Brett Stewart played very well and should be retained when Minichiello returns. I'd also drop Jamie Lyon and Jarryd Hayne for game 3. They really miss Gasnier as an attacking inside centre so who to put there is the toughest decision. Matt Cooper and Matt King both should be kept. I prefer Eric Grothe to Hayne if he is fit.

The forwards need a big overhaul. Brett White is not an answer. Bailey and Kite are too predictable. Jason Ryles will come back in but they need two other props. Paul Gallen is tough and ought to be tried at least. Greg Bird ought to be retained as a second rower or lock.

Graeme Murray most likely will be chopped for next year but I think the selectors at least owe him another chance in game 3 by making changes like some of those suggested above. Craig Bellamy is being touted for the job next year. He certainly has the right credentials.

Grothe in, King to the Centres, Lyon dumped. Whether Hayne stays depends on what your feeling is on the form of the other wingers available to NSW

NSW also need to not select the side on the basis of nepotism and past performances, and select the one hooker in the game who can give Cam Smith a run for his money - Robbie Farah.

Craig Wing officially heading back to Souths on a 4 year deal from next year. Will be a great pickup for the Souths & big loss for the Roosters.

Good work MB and while we are at it, Wendell Sailor to be signed by the Dragons ;)

Am fast losing my 18 year supportership of the Bulldogs, im sick of the crowd and fan BS, the moronic behaviour of the players who are forever *smile* acting like halfwitted morons and children, getting drunk, crap administration and in fighting and last but not least losing quality players and quality professional individuals, with work ethic, commitment and family values.......... not too mention wonderful players such as Price, O Meley and Asotasi so social duds like Williams, Mason Roberts and Maitua are retained.

So Much for the FAMILY CLUB.

The dogs have tarnished their proud reputation almost beyond repair and its sad.

To play as a second rower as well. He developed the ability to put on a good hit occasionally in his latter years at the horse, but he was always a bit of a turnstile. Playing rugby certainly won't have helped his defensive ability. Add to that his age and it loks like St George Illawarra are in for another rubbish season next year.

Nathan Brown appears to be in real trouble.

I cannot believe this guy is being given another chance. He seems to have not given a damn about the whole drug matter, and has shown no regrets IMO other than how it effected his career.

Glad its the Dragons and not the Storm.

I love hearing Canterbury supporters talk like this.

Make the switch to the mighty Tigers my friend ;)

Saddest thing is Melty is that i know im right re the Dogs becoming a rabble when they were once the envy of other clubs with their ruthlessness, sense of Family, proffessionalism and conduct.

Sonny Bill Williams has cost the Dogs so so much and really given not that much in my eyes.

Williams and Mason along with Tonga (another mercenary in my opinion) have cost the dogs Thurston, Price, Asotasi, O Meley, Harris, Anasta, and Myles, and its crap cos two players are not worth all those the Dogs have had to let go to keep paying the BS amounts of money they and their parasite managers are pushing for.

Back when i was a kiddlin i did like the Balmain tigers jersey cos they were the tigers, but i ended up with the dogs due to my neighbour who put me onto em and i liked their ol jersey too and they were good team :hihi

I could not get on the Tigs Melty cos they are half Wests and i could never follow anything that had anything to do with Black and White or Magpies. Sorry man. ;)

If they were still Balmain ............................... well ;D

Heading off to Olympic Park to see Storm play Dragons.Expecting a comfortable victory to Storm as Dragons have been ravaged with injury & have been very disappointing this year.

Storm have comfortable 28-6 victory against Dragons yesterday after being down 6-0 early in the game.Took the Storm 20 minutes to get going but was solid after that.Great game tonight in Bundy Night Footy with the Broncos playing Tigers. Also Souths beat the Sharks yesterday 16-12 in scrappy affair.

Tigers disappointing form continued last night, deservedly whacked 48-18 in Brisbane....Too much being left to too few.

No respite in sight with a trip to Canberra on Sunday...'bout time we played in the snow again.
