Shame the EJ Whitten game is on the same night as origin.
Yep,the ratings of origin 1 should have swayed 9 to do origin 2 live & a highhlights (or lowlights)package of Whitten game later.

Disgraceful that a hit and giggle legends game gets prime time ................ although i'd expect nothing less in Melbourne.

FFS ................ Origin is the pinnacle of League in the world its better than tests and as a showcase event deserves more respect.

Melbourne fans even not league converts watch Origin.

Tsk Tsk channel 9.

Happens every year.

Channel 9 Melbourne have this game deliberately scheduled against SOO 2 to ensure they can sabotage the ratings.

Can I ask our friends up north to be very careful in posting spoilers on here tonight, taking into account our coverage doesn't start until 9.30!

Very Clever Mr Sneeze ;) :clap

Go the toads :hihi

I wonder if the script writers have Hayne or Stewart to clinch victory for the Blues at the death and take the series to a decider ............................ is Stewart playing .... NSW or QLD prers will know by now.

I have a feeling that Fortress Telstra will see the Blues prevail ........................... GO THE MAROONS ;D

Was coming back from Mildura so listened to the game & only saw the end of the reply on Fox.Cam Smith seemed to play a great game & I beleive is now the best hooker in Aust.NSW obviously had plenty of chances.

Very good game, though the refereeing was quite lax. Cam Smith played all over Buderis. Kimmorley had a great game I thought, I think he and Thurston are of about equal skill level.

Here's hoping for a clean sweep in Brisbane!

He is easily the best hooker and has been for 18 months MB. Has an amazing motor and a very good footy brain. Also brilliant under pressure.

Agree Mr Sneeze,Do you think there will be a few changes to the NSW side for next game?Mat king seems to think he might get dropped.

I would be surprised if NSW didn't go for a youth side to build experience for next year.
Would make some sense to at least make a few changes.Reckon Craig Bellamy will take over the coaching job from Murray.

Changes need to be made to the Blues for SOO3 and the future.

First change ought to be Jarrod Mullen back in for Anasta(who looks like he has a busted hand anyway). If that happens Kimmorley will stay at halback. Brett Stewart played very well and should be retained when Minichiello returns. I'd also drop Jamie Lyon and Jarryd Hayne for game 3. They really miss Gasnier as an attacking inside centre so who to put there is the toughest decision. Matt Cooper and Matt King both should be kept. I prefer Eric Grothe to Hayne if he is fit.

The forwards need a big overhaul. Brett White is not an answer. Bailey and Kite are too predictable. Jason Ryles will come back in but they need two other props. Paul Gallen is tough and ought to be tried at least. Greg Bird ought to be retained as a second rower or lock.

Graeme Murray most likely will be chopped for next year but I think the selectors at least owe him another chance in game 3 by making changes like some of those suggested above. Craig Bellamy is being touted for the job next year. He certainly has the right credentials.

Not a great game to watch. Very hard fought and tight, but all very predicatble, especially from NSW. The Storm Boys, White and Ingliss, were the exceptions and the difference, along with Lockyer.

Tight and hard fought, but no razzle dazzle.

Shaun Berrigan has signed to play with Hull FC in the English competition from next year. I wonder how many more will abandon the horse this year?
