Warriors slaughter Penrith 54-14 in tonight's 1st game.Where are your tips Snake.

sorry mb been crook. This was what I tipped as work. I'm sure you'll accept 'em as I did crap and the stakes aren't high.

Manly, Penrith, eels, newcastle, cowboys, sharks, storm, tigers.

shocker, 3. Whats the aggregate?

The salary cap really works. I never thought we'd see the day when the Broncos had to let big Petero go.

Signed with the Panthers for 2 years with further 1 year option. At last some good news for the Mountain Men.

The crap salary caps and insufficient concessions for long term players is killing the NRL with the lodss of so many gun players overseas and swapping clubs mid season its beyond a joke.

Matt King to leave Storm whilst in his prime also to go to UK.

The standard of NRL is going to drop accordingly.

Cant believe a guy like Civoniceva is let go by the Broncos what a disgrace. They payed over the odds for Clinton and Wallace and stuffed emselves forcing a favourite son to go to Penrith, big Petero not at Brizzy is just wrong.

As with all sports, the parasite managers are the root cause of all that is wrong with modern day pro sport, *smile* parasites and blights on the game they are.

agree, but it doesnt mean I have to be happy about King saying :wavey

My tips were Souths, Gold Coast, Penny, Tigers :clap, Manly and Canterbury

Craig, I can't be too sad hearing the big fella has signed with Penny given Brisbane's already knocked of their 5/8

Obviously England is a minor concern though, will be sad to see Kingy leave Melbourne. They have the depth to cover him though.

I hear ya there Melty and i know you as a Tigers man have no love for any side from north of the Tweed, but when it comes to NRL i am a bit of a romantic and traditionalist, and its sad to see no loyalty anymore you know.
Gone are the days of dynasties at clubs like the Balmain of the 80s with Blocker, Benny, Junior, Sirro Garry Jack etc and we wont ever see these sorts of dynasties in sides again.

I am sick of seeing so much talent go overseas and as forplayers swapping clubs mid year that is an absolute joke of the highest order not too mention the coaches swapping teams last year .

To me Petero was one of those blokes that shouldve been a one club man. But thats the romasntic idealist in me.

Am hating the Panthers this year every time i pick these duds they get done!!

Couldnt even get past a seriously Origin depleted Broncos side FFS, my tips suck again. :p

Same goes for Gold Coast who got a kicking from the Warriors :p

My tips for this week

Broncos
Tigers (Bet of the round)
Storm (Danger game)
Manly
Warriors
Dragons
Doggies
Eels

just confirmed on SEN that Inglis's knee has no major structural damage, and he may be back next week or the week after.

Finally some decent injury news for the Storm :)

Mb ,

Think you've just given my blokes (Tigers) the "Kiss of Death'...

Heres my tips

Tigers ( for mine are morals - Panthers in turmoil with Gower, Clinton, Wallace and now Tony Puletua likely to leave .......... that said the Panthers have been the bane of my tipping all year sorry Jubey.
Broncos
Storm ( i do give the Bunnies a slight chance here also)
Cowboys
Sea Eagles
Dragons
Sharks (bogey side for doggies of recent times.)
Eels

Agree Souths are a danger for the Storm this week.

A depleted & representative scarred Melbourne certainly 'the hunted' this week v a team that's been competitive all year & desperate for a big scalp & some credibility. Possibly a season defining game for the Redfern mob.

Didn't know about Puletua, whats the story there?

Its in this weeks League Week MB - Puletua is fielding offers from guess where .............................. Superleague in UK (no surprise) ;)

I dont know a heap about the youngsters at Penrith but geez the future looks a little rough for them losing the likes of these blokes whilst Rep star rake Luke Priddis also has his future under a bit of a cloud at the minny too.

If the Panthers lose Puletua, Gower, Clinton, Priddis geez even signing big Petero may not be enough.

Elliott doesn't seem to have created a positive impression amongst the playing group, they are all leaving in their droves.Big Petro's only coming to Penrith for the big bag of cash they are paying him.Would have to be wooden spoon favorites at this stage.
