Penrith were fine Juniors wise until they killed the Premier League merger with St Mary's. Now St Mary's would be equally prepared to send their kids Parramatta's way rather than Penrith. Club definitly needs a big shake up from the top down as there is no reason why Penrith shouldn't be a power club in the modern game.

My tips this week FWIW

Gold Coast (1-12)
Tigers (1-12) :clap
Souths
Manly-Warringah
Auckland
St George
Cronulla-Sutherland
Parramatta

Have faith in me mj,tigers will win easily.
No worries Tigers beat Panthers 43-26.Penrith were leading 20-4 at 32 minute mark but Tigers obviously got on top.Penrith's defence must have been ordinary again.Broncos beat Titans 19-18 in extra time, apparently Scotty Prince is injured but not sure what it is.

Prince looked like a shoulder. Was the difference in the end. He was murdering Brisbane in that last 15 minutes. After he went off Brisbane equalised and kicked a FG off the first set of six in golden point.

The TIgers game was a strange one, Penrith were equally murdering us early, Pritchard and co were running all over us, Being down 20-4 was very much deserved. We were completely undisciplined.

Then bang we wake up and outscore them 39-6 for the remainder of the game. :clap :clap :clap :clap :clap

& forget Folau .... young Chrisy Lawrence is the most exciting young back in the game ;D

At least one of your Tiger's side is winning.

Storm down 8-0 at half time.Should have been awarded a try but overall a very patchy & flat performance thus far.Miss Cooper Cronk in the no 7.Souths the better side thus far.

Storm get home 12-8 after playing amuch better 2nd half.Storm had more possession in 2nd half & tries to King & Falou enabled them to sneak home.Souths are a good side who defend really well, just need to do a little more in attack.

Michael Hagan & Brian Smith face off for the 1st time since changing clubs in Bundy Night Football when Eels take on Knights.Expect Parramatta to win this comfortably.

I wish I had of consulted you before putting in my tips mb.

The Eels have cost me my first time of tipping 8/8 this week.

Leagues worst kept seceret due to be announced tomorrow with Matty King off to the UK for 600,000 ayear.

Expecting Brett Hodgson to also leave the tigers for UK also from other rumors, our tigers in NSW - Jubey may know more on this.

Craig,

Hearing much the same . Tigers to lose either Hodgson (UK Super League) or Whatuira (Canberra or R/Union) next year,if not both, due to salary cap constraints.

Chris Anderson pulled the curtain on his NRL coaching career overnight, quitting the Roosters post immediately, citing ill health.....Lucky he never coached the RFC.We'd have surely pushed him off the perch..... Assistant Brad Fittler 'caretaker' coach for the remainder of the season (8 weeks).

Good work Jubey i heard the news on OPES last night ........ must say i dont think he really wanted to return to coaching but was talked into it with $$$$$.

Ando was always only marking time for Freddie to take the reigns.

Shame his team wont be any good apart from the Ogre ..... Anasta is overated, Fitzgibbon is near the end after 4- 5 very solid years including heavy REP commitments which clearly taken their toll on his body, Wing defecting to Bunnies, Beattie back to Superleague, Myles under the pump to not get sacked, and Minichiello will never be the great full back he was prior to a near career ending back injury.

Agree,Anderson was on about 500k but at the end of the day health is more important & the game may have passed him by as a coach.

This gives them their chance ... move Marshall to FB for gods sake Tiges!
Would be a good move,Hodgson doesn't appear to be getting much in the way of offers from superleague.

Yeah youre right there Melty.

Hodgson expected to re sign with Tigers so Benji back to 5/8 i spose.

Farrah and Marshall in the halves is an exciting proposition for the tigers ... if Marshall could add a defensive side to his game without having his shoulder dislocated every time he lays a tackle.

Other Tigers news is they are chasing forward Cameron Ciraldo from Sharks for next year.

Other Mail ..............

Joel Monaghan to leave the Roosters and said to be heading back home to the Raiders, i too reckon the future looks brighter for the Raiders at the moment than the Roosters.

Believe it or not Bryan Fletcher set to return to the Roosters from UK next year.
