Agree Craig,he doesn't start training until next Monday.

Greg Inglis to miss start of 2008 season after shoulder surgery.Likely to be out of action for 12-16 weeks. At least he's copped the injury in the off season.

I hear Cameron Smith has won the golden boot, well deserved award for the most complete player in the game.

Rugby league week 08 preview out now i got mine already ...... get yours, just whets the appetite for the 08 season which will be even better than 07.

Well done Cameron Smith :clap

Alo well done West Tigers for securing Matt Head on a 1 year deal thus far.

Will be a handy acquisition for the Tiggies.

Wont move Benji from the #6 though.

Matt Head would have been a good signing but his knee is buggered.Think the Tigers have wasted their money.

Tim Smith has been at it again getting wasted and being abusive and a public menace harrassing some people on the weekend.

This guy is a brain dead moronic imbecile and should be flicked by the Eeels another example of a guy with talent but no brains.

Reni Maitua also can *smile* off from the Dogs imo as he and Mason have been 2 of the clubs worst offenders and causes of unrest and ill discipline.
If the Dogs are fair dinkum the likes of the Masons and Maituas should be flicked with quality individuals the backbone of the club like, Ryan, Patten and Hazem to set the club culture and influence the youngsters in a positive way.

Time to rebuild the doggies from ground floor.Steve Folkes looks set to be replaced by Steve Kearney at season's end.

Folkesy is more inflexible in regard to how he does things compared to many more recent coaches bit like Bennet but probably even more of a hard arse.

Dogs will probably miss the finals in 08 and expect more board room and committee shake ups at Belmore over the next 12 months.

Gold Coast Titans to pull out all stops in a bid to lure Benji Marshall from Leichardt and reunite him with Scotty Prince. Watch this space.

Shame. Clubs in all sports need to sort out the binge drinking culture which is a product of zero tolerance during the season. Encouraging responsible drinking during the season will lesson the need for big benders.

Still don't think the Eels will sack Smith as he is their no 7.He will get fined again & we'll be given another public apology.

Must have 9 lives young Timmy.

Great to see the Eels finally recognising Ray Price as their hero with a big bronze statue. Not before time.

Suspended indefinately young Tim .................................... till round 1 .

Parramatta have no guts and have set a bad precedent.

Hopefully Fitzgerald gets plenty over this.

Hagan is a softy in regard to this sort of stuff.

Eels were not going to dump Smith. An average front rower would have been shown the door but not & no 7.

It takes more than this to get dumped by the NRL. Look how long it took em to get rid of Hoppa.

That being said, they are better than they were 10 a few years ago (it was almost a tradition during off-season to find out what the Canterbury boys had done :hihi)
