Noah Balta - Welcome to Tigerland

I think from next season he’ll play this first half of games forward, kick 7 or 8 and then they’ll play him in the back half to lock it down.......big wraps on the boy

CCJ has great hands as well and has been impressing with stints in the ruck. How good would it be if these two make the grade? Never get too far ahead of ourselves with the talls as many just don't transition to AFL level but these two look pretty impressive at such a young age so far at VFL level.

How tall is CCJ ?
Could he make it as a ruckman

200cm. Hopefully will grow another couple. Bit crazy but almost getting too short these days for ruck. But he has all the attributes.

The new Adam Hunter forward and back.

Very underrated player. If makes it as that type of player we will win more close games.

Wow, i didn't realise how good he is on his on his left, i'm even more excited by the young bull.

I'm just gonna call Balta "BigKev" from now on, as every time he goes near the ball, I get excited.

Could you see him debuting soon guys or just let him development and bang next year?

Thoughts?

I think the latter, Xavier Clarke post game last week said that if Balta continues to work on his craft we should have a good player on our hands.

So I believe that that is exactly what he will do "continue to work on his craft" in the VFL. If we were not Premiers and not sitting on the top of the ladder then we would be blooding him before his time.

Love that we can develop players at our own pace now without any pressure.

What the Hawks did in the early 80s.

Thanks Caesar for your thoughts and this year for your training and VFL reports.

I'm sure there are many who appreciate your efforts and time you take to attend.

Balta really came into his own as the game wore on today. His ability to mop the loose is his strongest talent along with his natural line breaking. He has aerial game but is very immature atm. His ground game is phenomenal if only in surges. He can pick the ball off the lawn at full speed and then paradoxically accelerate. Houli class.

He can kick the jacket off it but is learning precision kicking. He's not there yet. And looks a bit ragged at times - his version of gassed. Others his age can't lift their arms if they cover the ground like Balta. (CJ. Miller.)

Depending on how he furnishes from here he may find himself debuting on a HBF. Natural running back.

Really unusual player. Is he a Kouta? A Gehrig? A Chaplin? I can't think of anybody quite like him at the same age. Goodes? Maybe Goodes.

Bloody outrageously tempting captain. I'll have a taste of Koutafisheads, without the injuries. Bloody good when he's ordinary n tears new arseholes when he's on.

Koutafidoumides was pretty good, TM. Champion for two years.

All of the players I can remember who remind me of Balta were late bloomers. Anyways this Balta is somebody different. It's worth going to the VFA just to watch him. BTW at this stage his best football is outside. A promising indicator.

I would really love to see him played as a midfielder 1 day , Could you imagine him picking the ball up 1 handed and running out of the pack bouncing the ball and kicking long for goal from 60mtrs.

He could also be the Perfect Grigg replacement as well - Kid can Ruck
