Nick Vlastuin

His running ability is almost his only flaw, but it's a pretty significant one at this stage. Consistently trails his man by 10+ metres. Hopefully another couple of preseasons will take care of it.

Im a fan but I dont think he has improved a great deal from last year (if at all).

Hopefully his tank builds to be able to play in the midfield but just doesnt find enough of the ball at the moment. Not expecting him to be a ball magnet, but needs to bring his average disposal count up to be considered bona fide midfielder.

I'm a big fan , just a little disappointed he hasn't improved more this year in fact his stats have dropped a tad this year the broken finger he had might have impaired him for a few weeks .

Staggering. I reckon he has been in our best 5 this year. Tough, skilful. Can't recall the last time he lost a one on one. Super reliable.

Looking forward to him havin a big preseason an playing more midfield next year, will be a massive player for us, has the ability to play pretty much anywhere which is a bonus

Vlastuin is one of the handful of players that we have that can read the play and be of use when not shacked by the "role" he gets given by our brains-trust who seem to have a very restricted vision of what he should be on the field.

I like to see him rotated in our forward line as he'd be the one of the smart ones that can actually worry the opposition in the same way as Deledio and Cotchin.

Build his tank, give him the run with roles for a while.
Must play ahead of Grigg pleeeease

When he gets that tank up... our midfield grows another set of monster nuts.

Leave my boy alone he is a star enough said move along nothing to see here

Seems to have slipped under the radar does Nick. Have not really noticed him in recent weeks.
Been learning how to work inside heavy traffic recently, not doing so much outside link n overlap stuff.

Has been solid without being spectacular but I like his vision and decision making and how he rarely makes any howling mistakes. No way he won't be playing finals.

Had a good game against the Crows a few weeks back, but to me, he is looking a bit tired, or maybe carrying a bit of a niggle. His numbers are about the same as last year but doesn't seem to be impacting the game to the same extent. Definitely still in our best 22.

I'd pick him before half the team, don't want to moz him but always makes the right decisions an doesn't give an easy ball back to the opposition, let's em know his around too
