Going on the whole earn your jumper number thing I reckon if Dusty does go then number 4 would suit Floss pretty well. Hardly any other decent low numbers available.

Well said, Pure. I have long been an advocate that some of the Club's truly great numbers should only be given to players worthy of those who have previously worn into battle for the Tigers.
Martin is not worthy of wearing a jumper with a number that once adorned the incomparable Royce Hart's back.

ive said this on another thread :clap id be happy if it went to flossy then i wouldn't have to change my number at all

Actually haven't done too badly with the No.4's

Geoff Raines, Craig Lambert, David Palm, Matthew Rogers. Even arguably the least talented in this group, David Palm, was a 100 gamer if my memory holds up.

No arguably about it, David Palm is far and away the least talented in that group, and he wore No. 6

I remember Palmy, not a great player but was cursed to be in pretty poor Richmond sides.
A fantastic bloke who is always willing to help out with our WA Supporter Group, particularly the junior footy clinics with Flea.

I well remember that round 22 V Melbourne, when demons players vowed pre-game to "get" David Palm, as payback for allegedly biting Alan Johnson earlier in the year.
The game was simmering along till just before Qtr time when all hell broke out.
Sitting near the boundary I had front row seat to watch Jimmy Jess knock Stephen Newport into the next post code, even my teeth rattled, the hit was so hard.

well said 8'y. Dusty is unforgettable. An incomparable player. Lucky we picked Richmond's Greatest Love Machine and The Concreter re-signed. Onwards and Upwards now.

I loved Jimmy Jess, a mongrel with a bit of class.

We haven't had much luck holding on to number 4's in recent times. Geoff Raines walked, Craig Lambert and now Martin. It's becoming a bit of a curse.
