Exactly. The couple of chances he's been given in the past and he's done really well. I suspect his tank isn't up to it so why not give him shorter spurts and see if he can work on his tank. It's not all about tank, it's about playing smart as well.

Wasn't it last season that plenty here were asking for him to be played in the middle? So they guve him a try there, he's not Gary Jr first game at it, so he's banished to the back line again. If the team and the players are ever going to improve, nerve needs to be held.tigerlove said:

Didn't get massive amounts of ball the ginger Flossy, but that's probably not his main role during a match. He had a dozen tackles n about twenty overall pressure acts for the game so obviously had the Carlscum mids n defenders under the pump a few times. Managed a sausage n a couple of very timely marks as well. Going to be finding his way a bit playing some mid n forward this year so there's a fair bit of improvement in the role to come.
