given where our season is at, why the hell don't we play him in the middle, he looked flat yesterday as all our team did, playing him on the ball will give him a freshen up. we got nothing to lose....

Exactly.

Has he ever been tried forward? No
Hardwick gets me angry. Try something different dipsh!t
Kicked a few goals in his early games. Hardwick won't try anything different, it's not in his nature. Did give him a bit of a run in the middle earlier this year and he did ok, so what does he do, put him back in defence of course.

Has been Richmondised...

Gone backwards in talent.

Amazing now every time these players mark a ball they look behind them first to move ball on.

He did better than ok in the middle, he was really good..

Anyway, that was it, no more.
Some racehorses need a change of environment - the beach or a different State, some travel perhaps.
Good trainers find the key to their horses, searching for an edge or some improvement - the mind is a massive part of performance.

Hardwick would be a shocking horse trainer..

Batchelor is much quicker and much better in the air. And a strong competitor. Much more agile too. Batchelor is not an AFL footballer.

That said Flossy has been working for a living for some weeks. He's giving what he's got. His kicking is off ATM and that's what he's there for.

He's a stylish footballer and that can be misleading.

Gone backwards at an amazing rate. Seriously contributed to the bad start with shocking decisions. Cost us the game against Collingwood with a dumb handball when everyone knew they were dynamite on the deliberate rule. Really worried about his decision making, sometimes that's a coaching thing as they're confused what to do and their instinctiveness has been coach out if them. He's one who desperately needs a new coach.

Can’t have that. Yesterday he played like a private school princess. Unless he could impact a contest within three meters of him, he wasn’t interested.

Was a red head Ty Vickery yesterday.

Hoping to find out during the week he had a raging virus that had him on a drip all week.

No energy, no attitude and no impact. Not worthy of his spot.

I don't think I've been massively impressed by him since his game against the Eagles at Domain. And that was years ago. Stagnated.

Flossy is a fan favourite, SCOOP.

There were only three posters who mentioned the small matter of Alex Fasolo's six goals in R3(?). (We were beaten by a point.)

Stylish players can be misleading.

I'd hate to see us trade him.

Plays in the middle against Hawthorn earlier this season. Shows some really promising signs.

Hasn't played there since. Logic.

Yes, it is interesting that when Cotchin was injured and Vlastuin (finally) played in the midfield he played his best football this season.

But when the current coaching regime has the blinkered vision that he is just another defender, then we just have to tolerate the waste of another mismanaged Richmond player.

I suppose we could do him a favour and trade him to a decent side that he'll probably play a handful of Grand Finals in.

Lost all confidence
The kid can play. He will be around for a long time.

Just play him in the middle for christ's sake for the last 4 and see what happens.
