If i was Craig I'd be going to where the challenge lies. Not where you cant be recognised. The guy is a competitor.

I can't think of a bigger challenge in the AFL than taking the RFC to a premiership, the people who do this will have a bronze statues added next to the Jack Dyer one at Punt Rd.

THE battle for Neil Craig's signature continued yesterday when he again met the Brisbane Lions.

Lions officials flew to Adelaide to resume discussions in the hope of securing Craig in a possible director of coaching role to support coach Michael Voss.

Craig met Richmond last Thursday about a similar role working alongside coach Damien Hardwick. The former Adelaide coach, who has a sports science background, also remains a chance to become high-performance coach with the Crows.

Meanwhile, Lions utility Brent Staker is expected to have a knee reconstruction this week. Attacking defender Josh Drummond has had hip surgery

The only thing Rucci can't get right is the tatts numbers. If it is happeneing in SA football, then Rucci knows what is happening.

Come on down Mr Craig.

I remember through the early to mid 2000's looking at the size of the Adelaide players and just moaning how come we couldn't get our players to that size.

Would be a great get just from a sports science scenario.

Agree pure, mentioned the same thing some where on here awhile ago. Just to see our players busting tackles would be great for a change.

Haven't we got more important issues to deal with?

According to Rucci there is no deal between Craig and Brisbane. Obviously it didnt go down to well up there yesterday. There were whispers about Melbourne being interested but thats not going to happen.

He has a firm offer on the table from Richmond and according to Rucci, Neil Craig will take it.
