So was it was a demotion for Buckley making a similar move for Collingwood this year?

No.

That was to keep him away from Mick so he could live long enough to be the senior coach in 2012. It was touch and go for a while last year.
 
Campbell was moved from one Assistant Role to another. Any assumption that he was demoted is based on what ? That midfield coach is senior to Opposition analysis ?

Agreed, Cambo, for all bristly ills, is a shrewd operator and has been clear I think in that he wants to coach, but with the right experience first.
 
BT just said Craig knocked back a good offer from cricket australia today, all indications are that he is coming to tigerland at this stage
 
Caro just mentioned on 3aw that Craig would also be senior midfield coach along with high performance manager type role. Then BT chipped in and said Craig had today knocked back the offer from Cricket Australia.
 
Would it be asking too much for him to bring Maric, Knights, Gunston and Dangerfield with him ;D

Maric not my first choice but i'll take him ahead of Graham, least Crazy Ivan has presence on the ground for a start.

It's late. I think that's a joke but I'm not sure. Craig played his genius - McCloud - off the back flank. Maybe no change then.
 
Saying in the HS today that he has further meetings with the Lions and Adelaide, although the Adelaide position is for the High Performance Manager role and the Lions is Football manager, which maybe similar tot he role we are looking at. Lions also quote using him as a mentor to Voss. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Voss needed a trade week mentor a few years ago. If he still needs a mentor he should be gone. He's been there 3 years?

I like the position we have offered him.
