Given our luck the last what?.....3 decades.........what's the bet we dont land him?

I really hope I am wrong and our luck has finally changed.

I really have my fingers crossed he comes to RFC. Tough and uncompromising, has great tactical nous. He will complement our inexperienced coaching panel perfectly. Must be head hunted and signed.

Voss needed a trade week mentor a few years ago. If he still needs a mentor he should be gone. He's been there 3 years?

I like the position we have offered him.
Yeah so do I. I just want to see our boys running out looking more like Adelaide physically than the physically imposing sides we have put out on the park in recent times.

Good point.

If I was Craig having been head coach of the Crows I'd go to a non footy town like Brisbane where you can go down the street and not be recognized by every single person

If you're Neil Craig and looking at the Brisbane list and ours.... seriously who would you go to.
Most of us supporters are used to failure, bad luck etc. but these guys are football insiders and all they see is Cotchin, Dustin "freakin" Martin, Jack Riewoldt, Deledio and Vickery and go holy crap. They are all going to be around for 8+ years and they are all potentially elite. Not to mention the plethora of young 19-20 year olds who you can develop and enjoy the progress. I think the Richmond assistant roles/football department jobs are going to be very desired over the next couple of years due to the number of elite young guys we have. For Craig to go to Brissie over Richmond it would be a lifestyle choice which means he is not fully committed to winning premierships because we are miles ahead of Brisbane in that aspect.

Fair points, I guess it depends what he wants at this stage of life. I hope he still has the fire in the belly and wants to spend a few years in Melbourne, nothing like being part of a big club playing finals.

Just imagine what Craig could do to Dustin Martin - now that is very very scary ;D

If i was Craig I'd be going to where the challenge lies. Not where you cant be recognised. The guy is a competitor.

You'd think anyone with a bit of drive would want to come to Melbourne, the Mecca of football, and to a big club on the rise as well. Brisbane? Pfft!

If I was Neil Craig I'd be looking at the looooong list of ex-employees who have failed to work with Voss. They have replaced the desks with revolving doors.

He mightn't mind the three R's in Redden, Rockliff, Rich - add Leuenberger, and have an interesting group of kids in Bewick, Banfield, Green, Polec and O'Brien. If I had no allegiance I know which winter I prefer :hihi
