NBA 2011

The Wolves have added Kirilenko and Shved to their roster, along with Roy. Pretty good moves all of them!

Just need a backup centre now.

They got that in Greg Stiemsma. They have done well. Overpaid for AK47 but they have the cap space.

True but they really need a 'wingman' who can defend and once Batum was kept by Portland... not a lot of choice really. I also think Shved will be a good backup at point, a bit skinny but good height and skills.

How is GSW looking Scoop? Is Bogut right for a solid comeback?

My beloved Warriors need everything to go right if they wanna sneak into the playoffs.
Bogut will be right to start the season but the question is for how long?
He's always involved in a freak accident.
Then their is Curry who is a gun and capable of being one of the best Point guards in the game but will his ankle hold up is the question.
Curry, Bogut, Lee, Jefferson, Jarrett Jack, Brandon Rush, Klay Thompson and Carl Landry that's the best squad we've had since 2007.

Also I was happy with the first 2 selections in the draft getting Harrison Barnes with our 7th pick,
who was touted as a potential number 1 pick...... capable of being in the Rudy Gay/Granger mold.
Then Festus Ezeli who is a good defensive big man at best case a player like Dalembert.

Can't believe Biedrens is still around I was hopeful of a trade, he's a certified spud.
Shot 11% for the free throw line last season that's beyond pathetic.

If we lose any of Lee/Curry/Bogut to injury playoff aspirations are shot.

I like what the Warriors did. They have flipped there team in a year and a bit.

Now comes the dreaded if...

IF bogut can play 70 games they will be much better
IF Curry can play 70 games they will be much better.

I think Klay Thompson will quietly average 16-18 a game. Super smooth, just needs screens. Reminds me of a young Ray Allen.

Harrison Barnes was a great get. Will be better in the NBA then the NCAA. Slasher and spot up shooter.

The Warriors will put points on the board but I am not sure they can stop teams doing the same.

But they will be fun to watch. Great passing bigs in Lee and Bogut should make for some great viewing.

Feel sorry for my NJ cuz who has to travel to Brooklyn NY to watch the Nets now.

I reckon Klay looks the goods.

The warriors should be able to mold him into a very good player.

The big question is where will Dwight Howard be next season,
All things are pointing that D12 will play out his contract with the Magic.

Lakers, Nets, Rockets, Hawks and Mavs are the teams having a crack at him.
Nets and Lakers have put deals on the table but the Magic aren't interested.
Houston have apparently made many offers but Orlando have shot them down too.
Their is no way he will end up at the Lakers or Nets....they simply don't have the cap space.
If he does get traded before the deadline it would be to the Mavs or Hawks imo.

Just forget what I said yesterday!!!

D12 is a LAKER!!!!

Apparently multiple sources with direct knowledge told ESPN it's a done deal.
Lakers will receive Howard, the Denver Nuggets will acquire Andre Iguodala, the 76ers will receive Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson, and the Magic will get Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Nikola Vucevic and one protected future first-round pick from each of the three teams.
In addition, the Magic will be getting other pieces, including 76ers No. 1 draft pick Moe Harkless.

WOW!
I hate the Lakers but I hate the Heat more at least they have a challenge now.
James/Wade/Bosh/Ray Allen vs Nash/Kobe/Gasol/Howard can't wait for that.

Damn. Lakers champion favourites now if true. They have the best front office in the NBA. Always manage to make great deals.

Not sure about that Barnzy. LA sells it self. Big time players want to go there. And the owners pay luxury tax.

Makes life a little easier. But it's a nasty team. And besides the Magic, who are cleaning out and starting over, the other teams got better as well.

Gasol for Kwame Brown, Steve Nash for washed up Odom, Bynum for Howard.

Must be doing something right. They still have to get the trades through.

Yeah combination of the city and great management.

If the lakers are to win the championship it won't be behind Howard. It will be Nash and Kobe who will get them over the line. Until Howard can be a threat outside the paint he won't be the go to man

Tough call on Mr Double Double, then throw in the blocks. Who ever plays on him needs to get straight in with the kidney punches ;)

That's very harsh, Howard is the best center in the game.
Their are many big men in the game that can't shoot well in the paint, not everyone is Dirk Nowitzki.
D12 is a solid defender, good blocker, great rebounder and good scorer you can't ask for much more than that.
Shaq was pathetic in this area...he couldn't even hit a free throw!!
But I'd only have Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Wilt Chamberlain as better Centers in the history of the game than Shaq.
