NBA 2011

Lebron has been the best player in the NBA for the past five years.

Deserved a ring.

Where does everyone think Nash will end up, or are the Knicks locked in? And then there is Boston... are they going to get broken up now that 'the dream has ended'?

The name for this one is "The best that never was" about Marcus Dupree.
These docos are absolutely brilliant, even if you don't love the sport they suck you in.

Some other great docos which haven't been mentioned are -
"Catching Hell" the Steve Bartram story detailed here -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Bartman_incident
"Winning Time: Reggie Miller vs. The New York Knicks" is excellent.
"Unguarded" about former NBA player Chris Herren is outstanding.

Definitely going to get the box set of these as you can watch them time and time again.

Took your advice and got a boxed set. Then took a sickie and watched the first 10 of them back to back.

Favourite so far is "Without Bias". Sobering stuff. Winning time was really good too.

Fantastic stuff, will be getting this shortly.
I still haven't seen Without Bias so will keep an eye out for that one.
Was hoping to get it on blu ray but JB only had the DVD version, I may need to ship it over.

Odom has been traded to the Clippers while Mo Williams has gone to Utah.
Dalembert has gone to the Bucks.

Happy the Warriors picked up Harrison Barnes they needed a good small forward.
Even though he has been criticized for not playing to his potential but the same thing happened to Rudy Gay and he goes alright,
clearly the best player available with pick 7 and the best fit for the Warriors.
Also picked Festus Ezeli he's better than the 2 centers Melo and Plumlee that were picked before him so I'm happy with that.

Ray Allen is an unrestricted free agent.....rumors are he's on the Heat's radar.

If they add him and somehow got a decent C like Chris Kaman they'd be unbeatable. Doubt they can both though, probably struggle to get just Allen given their cap space.

Agree, Barnes would have been a dream pick-up for the Warriors and I am surprised he made it to them.

Was really interesting when Kidd-Gilchrist got picked up at 2.

Any reports on Bogut's body getting healthy?

Bogut won't be going to London for the Olympics which is disappointing but he'll be 100% for the NBA season.
He'll resume full training mid-late August.

Joe Johnson traded to the Nets!
I'll put money on it the Hawks will make a play for Dwight Howard who grew up in Atlanta.

Dwight keeps making it known he wants a trade so you might be on the money.

Just prior to the draft there were rumours that OKC were very interested in Bradley Beale who the Wizards picked up with the #3 pick.

Don't know who they would have actually traded for him though.

It was Harden for pick 3. Crazy by OKC. Harden has a bad finals and they want to turf him.

Sometimes the best trades are the ones you don't make.

Yeah, crazy all right.

I was thinking maybe Maynor would have been involved but glad that one didn't go through.
Will be interesting to see how OKC go when it comes time for both Harden's and Ibaka's contracts to be renewed.

Steve Nash goes to the Lakers.

Just read that... WOW!

Lakers shot at a title just took a huge step forward IMO.

Wow

Come on Wolves... let's see some action that will get us into the playoffs next season!

:D

Yep gonna be tough....looking forward to some improving teams though. New York, LA, Brooklyn should all be up there.

Some people don't like the super-teams but as a pure basketball fan I love seeing the best play with and against eachother.
