Are you still cut about not getting a ribbon in U9s?

Spewing!

Suarez is use to finishing 8th or 10th. Zips only remember winners...not clubs or blokes finishing tenth.
If you played 22 games, with no contact, running around without a opponent, hardwick will get you a top Finnish too.

What color medal do you get finishing tenth? No other sports awards finishing tenth. Maybe coming last at under 8's athletics.

What on earth are you on about!

Fantastic. Last I heard Hawthorn are the only winners running around the AFL at the moment - off you go and support them this year, and maybe next year or it could be Freo, Sydney or even Richmond.

In my opinion, Zips doesn't talk crap when it comes to assessing the place of Grigg in the team.
I may not be as virulent when expressing my views, but I can't believe the Tigers can ever be real contenders if Grigg is still in the team's best 22 players.

I don't think Grigg will be in our next premiership... And yes I know there's every chance Cotchin may not... But what I mean is if we win one in say the next 4 years I think we will have upgraded on Grigg for his position.

Yep that's possibly correct. Same applies to many players. Our list will look very different in 4 years time. I don't see the point in the gratuitous bagging of Shaun. I doubt anyone is claiming he's a Tiger superstar. He's obviously been playing his given and required role well enough for the coaches to select him and rank him in our top 10 players though. Shaun's future is largely up to him. I see no point in constantly bagging him rather than discussing his performance on it's actual merits.

Im not a grigg fan either but would say he gets as much out of himself as possible as he's not a naturally gifted footballer as some of our other players i.e. Martin, Cotch, Jack etc

Agree Rosy i don't see the point particulary one poster constantly bagging our team.. If they are that bad or you dislike them that much then there 17 other clubs! The fact we were 15-7 with a young list tells me were going in the right direction!!!!

Don't sit on the fence, like others on here.
We have kids good enough today to take these guys spots in the best 22. Mr Donut, biscuits and Lennon are waiting

Maybe they are waiting and maybe they will take over but to this stage they've done nothing to force the selectors hand in regards to taking Grigg's spot. Hope they keep knocking at the door and give our selectors a real headache.

McD one game and wasn't a standout as to be expected for such a young guy, Lennon hasn't played a game and Arnot lacks polish but endeavour is great lets see if he can improve.. I do hope all go gang busters but at this stage all things being considered such as understanding game plan, team dynamics, pre seasons= tank etc etc... i trust the selectors know what they're doing. As others have said 3 years ago we were a basket case and last year we were half a game out of the four.

I have opinions also, but i bow the Dimmas and selector knowledge of game plan, injuries, positional requirements, team balance requirements etc and support who ever is in the wonderful Yellow and black!! I say again Grigg is not a favorite of mine but whilst he's in the Y & B he has my unconditional support and i really hope guys like Lennon, McD, Miles, Gordon etc step up and put pressure on selection!!

We will be ok. As long as the kids keep improving and we find players like big V and Ellis
We should be a power again

good work guys, i also apologize to for any poor comments. Would be great for Axel to get back to his best.. I think if everyone comes on this year Axel will struggle to get a game, but a Fully fit, in form Axel if that was to happen would be huge!

Been a firm believer in Axel for years. If his first full preseason for sometime goes well overall then I hope to see the old Axel back at his best. Even is he ends up a yard slower, his football smarts will still give him the edge over his heir apparent's for 2014
