Nathan (Axel) Foley [MERGED]

Yeah sure zipper...like you insisted he was being traded despite being told his contract had been renewed and he'd been advised he was very much a required player at his post season review.

Whaaaaaat?? Zipper got something wrong?
Oh well - guess there has to be a first time for everything.

A fully fit Axle playing his usual in, under and burst role will take a huge load of heat off the Cotch. Proper rotations of mids who can grunt in and release from congestion is priceless.

on his day - and i hope we get plenty more from him - he is one of the best at the club. before that bad injury he was invaluable and i would go as far to say as good as anyone in the league in that role.

I think Ellis changing with Foley is the match committee plan, otherwise we go to S Edwards Arnott McDonough

Nathan will give all he's got to get back to near his best. If he does, what a fantastic boon for the team, our midfield depth will be so much better (inside & outside).
If he doesn't & fades away then he deserves to be applauded for his efforts, rookie pick up remember, & to be treated with respect by all Tigers.

Thats it. Great call.

I for one as his president will back him in to play if fit. His clearance work off a ruck is still first class.

Also as a side note Foley was a class act when I met him at the community camp and I thank him for signing my daughters jumper.

Lay off Zips. He hasn't been the same since he first strained his credibility.

Strained! Ripped it right off the bone IMO ;D

There he is Grigg lover.
Thank god your not selecting our team. All the hacks would be getting games

As someone else said a while ago Zip, your negativity almost seems as though you want our players and club to fail.??.. i don't post much but do read a bit to see whats going on as i live abroad.. almost every post is a negative comment, absolute ripper

You would've finish top 10 in the B&F. Nothing to crow about.

Piffle...Top 10 in a team that finished well in the top 8 in the AFL is a commendable effort. Like it or not we can all have personal opinions about our players' performance and worth to the team but if we think the coaches are wrong in their assessment of players we think so in ignorance.

So just like that top ten in B&F's means nothing! Just at Richmond or at all clubs? For all players or just ones you dislike?

What color medal do you get finishing tenth? No other sports awards finishing tenth. Maybe coming last at under 8's athletics.
