Don't question me as a member of this club. I have a point of view and my view is that players like foley, Grigg, Newman, king won't take us any where.
I'm glad you call yourself a 'member'. You're certainly not a supporters backside...

But they have Zips. First time in finals for 12 years.

Need to see how next year turns out...you don't think we will improve further. I am thinking we will and hopefully we will crack top 4. The journey continues....that is what is so interesting and exciting about being a Tiger fan

as nathan's proud president i'm glad to post that he isn't going anywhere. he's very much a required player next year. disappointing he was dropped for the final but i suppose the club didn't want to risk a player who's not quite 100%. his leg hasn't quite returned to full condition yet, thus his disposal hasn't been quite spot on, but it's nothing a good pre-season won't fix. i'm really looking forward to see him back tearing up the midfield next year. support the boys :D
We speak as one Rosy! :clap
Good to see Zips hasn't lost his pessimistic touch

Lots of talk of guys stepping up at the moment - and fair enough, there are a throng of midfielders in there early 20's ready to make there mark to add to the mature age recruits taken in this years drafts.

To leysy, and this is not writing him off, but Axl faces a real challenge to hold a spot in our side now. He had little impact last year & was dropped for the final so the coaching staff are aware of his flaws & will act.

The positive is he was coming off a long time out so will be better for a pre-season. The negative is he still looks very light in the chassis. Nathan has played his best when he's been a strong ball of muscle rolling from contest to contest.

Have the injuries taken the toll too much that his aerobic & strength work have now suffered too much in an extremely elite game.

Here's to an improved year from him, as it will take a pretty big leap in form for him to be a regular fixture. You know he'll do all he can, but there are always casualties in improving sides (for everyone that comes in, one must go out) and Axl as much as we love him could be one ILO.

newy and king might be in the same boat: fingers crossed they all have good seasons

Saw him today at training and was running with a noticeable limp.

Has never been the same player after that Adelaide game on the Gold Coast. He has has ankle issues/leg issues ever since

true but if the club and Nate didn't believe he get back, then neither party would continue.
Despite his omission from the finals team, he was still an emergency, along with Big O and Matty Dea

Would be a massive bonus.

If he can ever hit a target it will be. Watching him last year looks like he could struggle to get a game. Miss's too many targets by foot for my likening

Training the house down never sounds sincere. A bit like a coach having the full support of the board.

I remember in 01 or 02, the word coming out of punt road was "Pettifer was burning the track" and we know what we got in return.
Means nothin. Good players will always be good.
Penderbury & ablett spend a week in the states, interrupt their preseason, but that won't effect there output this year.

Yeah sure zipper...like you insisted he was being traded despite being told his contract had been renewed and he'd been advised he was very much a required player at his post season review.

The Nugget battled last year but played some pretty good footy in 2012. He might not get back to his best but if he stays fit and can reach that '12 level we'll be in good stead.

Nathan will give all he's got to get back to near his best. If he does, what a fantastic boon for the team, our midfield depth will be so much better (inside & outside).
If he doesn't & fades away then he deserves to be applauded for his efforts, rookie pick up remember, & to be treated with respect by all Tigers.
