Nathan (Axel) Foley [MERGED]

can not wait until this bloke gets back...i think a lot of people forget just how good he is....still finished ninth in our band f last year despite missing half a year

the flow on effect is enormous...someone has to run with cotchin and lids leaving him and martin to do as they please....and when this bloke has 20 touches in the first half including 10 running bounces who do they let go free to man him up...lids? cotch?.....such an imortant piece in our puzzle

The big question is whether he can get back to the Axel of old. If he can we'll have just about the best midfield in the competition.

Spoke to Nathan's uncle, life long tiger who has a lot to do with Nathan, who told me its the first time in three years that Nathan is pain free and that he was recording and Exceeding his fastest sprint times.

great to hear. if he can get his pace back he'll be awsome. remember him dominating the Vic v all stars game a few years back. one of the best mids in the league during that time.

Kobe Bryant has just done his achilles so this very good American website has done a story about previous achilles injuries in the NBA. My take home message is that if you are young enough and have miles in the tank a full recovery is possible.

That game was an Omen, career ender
How players from that game are gone???

Just read on the Tigers site the great news that Axel got through three quarters going well. I know its only seconds footy but to hear that moving well in any game gives me hope that we will see Axel in the firsts in the not too distant future. Cotch will have support then

I feel a game against melbourne as the sub and then we unleash Foley against the druggies at dreamtime.

Sounds great to me. Makes us a much better team.

yep.... wounds good but I dont think he will Richmond will take the risk

30 min of Axel would help him get him up to tempo footy,,, Only drawback would be if we copped and early injury and he had to go 80+min!!
