Nathan (Axel) Foley [MERGED]

Played another great game, now averaging 25.4 disposals a game in 2007. Also averaging 4.1 tackles a game :clap

Has been a star this year!

Am I allowed to say "told you so" yet?

I need something to feel good about currently. ;)

Ms Tantie.
xox

Bell did okay, but Bell was in awesome form (as he showed when Foley was done at the 4th). Good game again mate :clap

Ran forward tonight with a burst of pace, at every chance, really left Bell in his wake at one stage. I didn't think he was part of the pace brigade but he is. Never tries to overcook his kicks, just chips into space for someone to run on to.

Didn't bounce straight away tonight either.

Playing some hard nosed in and under Scotty West type footballer.

Great to see a home grown Tiger coming through the ranks.

Four players this year have averaged 25.4 disposals per game

Simon Black, Cameron Bruce, Heath Scotland and Nathan Foley
His in pretty good compony ;D

another that will improve over time....its all about application...and this kid applies himself...

Another great game. Wallet tonight said he is the hardest worker on his game that he has ever seen. Well done Foley, keep this up and you'll win the B & F just ahead of Polak.

Most improved player in the AFL.

Is now a legitimate A class mid. While I thought he may only be a in and under player, his run and carry is becoming just as effective.

Where on earth did this kid come from (figure of speech) ?

What a genuinely brilliant young talent. I felt the hair on the back of my neck like when Mark Coughlan was at his best a few years ago (imagine them both at their best ........ next year perhaps).

Long term contracts should only be reserved for players of this calibre.

Given our status on the ladder and the lack of superstar focus from the media (just yet) Nathan Foley is unlikley to get anywhere near close enough to win the Brownlow, but as an outsider it might be worth a lazy iceberg.

Re: Good story on Nathan Foley

Got to love this kid!!!
Maybe he will be the next man to wear 17 sounds like he presents himself well off the ground as he does on!!

This could be merged to What the journos said area?

The Foley goals tonight were magnificent!

Foley's goals were stamped with class. I haven't been that excited by a Tiger play for a while, especially his first goal!
