Nathan (Axel) Foley [MERGED]

Re: Nathan Foley

im tipping he is well up the leaderboard for the jd medal. A flashback to cogs . . . . axel you give us reason to hope for the future!

Re: Nathan Foley

his kicking to target has improved, he has clearly put a lot of work into his disposal.

His kicking efficiency before last night's game was 74.7 compared with the AFL average of 73.3

Re: Nathan Foley

yes he has improved but he seems to run around in circles alot and get caught with the ball :-\

Re: Nathan Foley

Our best young player by miles. He will become a very good long term serviceable player, but will never be a superstar.

Has a heart like Par Lap - love the kid!

Yep a heart like Par Lap.

Re: Nathan Foley

Foley reminds me alot of Scott West.

Foley just gives his all. Came onto the list the hard way and is easily the hardest worker on the list.

May as well give him the B&F award now.

Agree, nwo. Very similar types. Foley is a bit behind at the same age but is coming from a long way back.

Even when you give a compliment you b1tch slap. Just give the kid he kudos and move on

Bump again

Interesting discussion between Disco and Claw on the side of rightness  and Rayzorwire on the side of UnFoleyness. Foley with more game time year is the number 1 clearance man in the league - good second stringer ;)

Interesting that Claw and RW have taken their act to Bigfooty.

Also good to see that slow bloke Foley get a kick too :hihi

The kid just needs to be applauded for taking it upon himself to do the hard yards over summer and improve every facet of his game...I admire you Nathan...300 game player for sure :clap

Maybe it is because, as per usual, none of his team mates are presenting upfield or giving him a passing option.
well said

my concern for Axel is that he will be flogged to death during the season due to the fact he is our only decent midfielder and we have insufficient midfielders to regulary rotate him.

with 7 games to go, i can see his form staring to wane.

Have just read the whole thread from go to whoa. I would have to say rayzorwire comes across as a tosser of the highest order. Well done to Harry Lambsy and Claw.
